Welcome once again to NFA! Tonight we begin our trek down the Road to The Beginning of the End!
Jayzero is in the ring with a microphone in hand and the NFA Women's Championship over his shoulder. "At the midseason finale, Bragging Rights, NFA was victorious in defeating FNBF and therefore we can confidently and rightfully claim to be the best wrestling show on TV!" The crowd chants 'NFA!' as Jayzero smugly grins, "Unfortunately, during our break, Ronda Rousey breached her contract and fought in the UFC, resulting in an embarrassing loss, not just for her but also for NFA. It is because of that reason that I have terminated Ronda Rousey's employment effective immediately and we will now set out to crown a new NFA Women's Champion in a gauntlet match at The Beginning of The End!" The crowd gives the announcement a mixed reaction as Jayzero heads to the back.
Johnny Mundo, Taya, PJ Black & Jack Evans of The Worldwide Underground are in the ring. Their opponent, Tiarnán, makes his way out with Becky Lynch by his side. Referees sprint down the ramp and block Lynch from entering the ring on Jayzero's orders. They walk her to the back as Tiarnán enters the ring. Jayzero announced earlier tonight on Twitter that if Tiarnán loses this match, he must join The Worldwide Underground. The bell rings and Mundo immediately delivers a springboard kick to the head of Tiarnán. With Tiarnán down, the four members of The Worldwide Underground go up to the four corners. Taya leaps off first with a moonsault, followed by PJ Black hitting the 450 Splash. Evans the dives off connecting with the 630 Senton, he then drags Tiarnán's unconscious body over to Mundo's corner who hits the End of the World for the win. The Worldwide Underground celebrate their big win by playing air guitar over Tiarnán, adding insult to injury.
Jayzero is sat at his desk catching up on paperwork when Lashley storms into the office. "I want my rematch against Finn Bálor tonight!" "You clearly didn't read the fine print on the contract for that match, because there was a no rematch clause, so I'm going to have to say no to that request." Lashley grabs Jayzero around the throat, "In that case, I quit." Lashley pushes Jayzero, resulting in him tumbling out of his chair.
Up next on NFA we've got women's action as Alexa Bliss goes one-on-one with Jessica. Alexa attacks Jessica before the bell and wails on her. The referee pulls her away and calls for the bell. Jessica tries to fight back but Alexa puts her away with a spike DDT. Alexa walks to the back celebrating her win as the NFA Tag Team Champions Man Candy rush out to check on Jessica. Cesaro and Wolfgang help Jessica to her feet, and they then both proceed to drop down to one knee. "Will you marry me?" they say at the same time. Jessica looks around at the crowd for help in making her decision. "Yes!" she cries out, snatching both rings and sliding them onto her ring finger. She struts to the back, forgetting about her loss, as Man Candy follow her, looking confused as to who she intends on marrying.
Fire bursting through the stage means only one thing, Kane is on his way to the ring! Kane makes his way down the aisle with us niece, the Daughter of Destruction, Paige by his side. Next out is Catrina, leading her procession to the ring with her. Kane will be competing against Konnor of the Disciples of Death. The bell ring and Kane is firmly in control. The Big Red Machine hits a devastating sidewalk slam for a near fall. Kane signals that the end is near and calls for the Chokeslam, but Catrina has other ideas. She jumps up on the apron in an attempt to distract the referee. Viktor runs in the ring but receives a big boot for his troubles. Mil Muertes slides in the ring in view of the referee and nails Kane with the Flatliner. The referee calls for the bell, awarding Kane the win by DQ. After the match, The Disciples of Death and Mil Muertes beat down Kane before tossing him from the ring. Catrina invites Paige into the ring, but before she can answer the challenge, the lights go out and when they come back on, Paige and Kane are nowhere to be seen.
In the back, Bayley is returning from the shower with a towel covering her head. Sable and Emma approach her from behind and snatch the towel, revealing that Bayley's face has been dyed green. "What's the matter, Bayley? Are you feeling alright?" Emma asks the NFA Women's Intercontinental Champion. "I'd be fine if you two hadn't slipped dye into my face wash!" Bayley snaps back. "Now come on, Bayley, why would we do such a thing?" Sable asks faking sincerity, "If you ask me, you're clearly green with envy due to our good looks. Though to be honest, someone who looks like you should be jealous of everyone who looks... normal." Bayley squares up to Sable, but Emma gives her a big shove to the ground. Sable and Emma walk away laughing to themselves as Bayley again finds herself in tears.
Madusa is in the ring awaiting the arrival of her opponent. Naomi makes her way out with The Usos by her side. The bell rings and the two women lock up. Madusa tries to dominate Naomi early on, but she's having none of it. Madusa hits the ropes but is met with the Rear View for a near fall. Madusa recovers and plants Naomi with a bridging German Suplex for a near fall of her own. Madusa tries for a second German, but Naomi counters and stomps on the back of Madusa's knee. Naomi then locks in the Tequila Sunrise for the submission victory.
The NFA World Heavyweight Champion Finn Bálor makes his way to the ring to a huge pop from the live crowd. He climbs the turnbuckle to pose for the NFA Universe when suddenly The Man slides into the ring and attacks from behind. The Man plants Bálor with the World's Strongest Slam before scraping him off of the mat to deliver the Burning Hammer. The Man goes to leave the ring but notices that Finn is still moving. He grabs the champion and tosses him over the top rope. The Man follows him out and grabs hold of him once again. He lifts him into the Powerbomb position and launches him into the barricade. EMTs and referees rush to check on Finn Bálor as The Man poses with the NFA World Heavyweight Championship, sending a clear message to the champ.
We see the figure of a man emerging from a lake. He walks up the driveway of a house and is greeted upon his arrival, "Mr. Hardy! It's so good to see you! Where have you been all this time?" "Señor Benjamin! I have been undergoing intense training in the lost city of Atlantis, ensuring I am ready for my NFA return," Broken Matt Hardy announces with a huge grin on his face, "But enough about that, I must reunite with my beautiful wife and tonight we shall all celebrate!" Broken Matt opens the door of his house where he's met by his wife, Reby, who is wearing a maid's outfit. "Matt! You're back!" Reby shouts in delight. "Rebecca, that is an odd choice of attire, but still, you look wonderful!" "Matt, this isn't a fashion choice. He made me wear it, he has put me and Señor Benjamin to work as his servants, and worse than that ... He has Maxel." "Who has my son?!" "He's through there..." Reby points at the banquet hall of House Hardy. Broken Matt makes his way over the doors of the hall and pushes the doors open. The hall has been turned into a throne room of sorts. Broken Matt passes a cage containing Vanguard 1 as he approaches the throne. To the side of the throne is a slightly smaller throne, on which Broken Matt Hardy's son Maxel is seated. Broken Matt stares right into the eyes of the man who has taken his family hostage, the NFA Cruiserweight Champion, King Tarry. "Broken Matt Hardy, I knew you'd come!"
