Kevin Williamson has been replaced by the guy who wrote Scream 3. This once promising movie is now going to blow.

Oh yeah, and two actresses have already dropped out. Lauren Graham and Lake Bell have been replaced by Mary McConnell and Marley Shelton.

lol, can't believe I ever even got my hopes up for this.

I just learned that Adam Brody is playing a cop in this movie. He won me over in Jennifer's Body, so I'm pleased by this. Looks to be the only bright side of this futile flick so far.

Not looking forward to this.

They're still using Kevin Williamson's script. He just left to work on the new season of Vampire Diaries so they brought in the guy from Scream 3 incase they needed any touch-ups

And Lauren Graham only left because her role was downsized and she had scheduling conflicts filming Parenthood so she dropped out.
That one does kinda bum me out though. I like Lauren Graham. Oh well. She probably would've died anyway.

It has a great cast and I grew up with 1 & 2 so nostalgia won't allow me to not look forward to this movie.
I just hope they stop dwelling on Sidney's mother. We get it, she was a whore. She pissed alot of people off. Next motive please.

I hope so. I heard Hayden Panettiere was mad about the script changes and the fact that her character was being "dumbed down." I don't really care about her tho, and I'm sure I'll still see it regardless. I just don't want Scream's big comeback to be a lame duck.

Damn. I didn't realize it's already been over 10 years since Scream 3.

Lol at Hayden being mad at getting "dumbed down". It's a Scream movie. She's there to look hot and get stabbed to death. She should be honoured.

All this talk of Scream, Buffy and Sarah Michelle Gellar is making me feel rather nostalgic, lol.

I'm pissed that SMG never became like a huge movie star after Buffy. I do like most of the stuff she's done though...yes, even Southland Tales.

A lot of my favorite actresses from the 90s didn't quite make it out with their careers intact. At least we'll always have Cruel Intentions. I am looking forward to Veronika Decides to Die tho.

She should do more horror movies. The Grudge was awesome.

I agree. I still think I Know What You Did Last Summer was one of her best movies, lol. She brought a lot of depth to that role.

I just recently saw another horror movie she was in, "The Return", which was pretty good. I don't know how I had never came across it before. I'm not sure it was even released over here. Buffy the Vampire Slayer should not be reduced to straight to DVD movies, lol.

I’m already ridiculously looking forward to this and it’s not even out until April.

Thankfully the Jennifer Aniston talk was unfounded and I can look forward safe in the knowledge that she is not going to ruin one of my all time favorite horror series’ with her horribly wooden acting.

I am disappointed that Matthew Lillard's character really isn't coming back, I thought it would've been cool for them to write his death at the end of part one as nothing more than a disfiguring accident and he returns to finish the job or whatever idk...Slc Punk!
