Even if I don't like some of them, I can agree with this list from 1-8 based on kayfabe achievements...but Eve and Alicia? Come on now. Don't be silly.

And the slow pace and weird offense were just as bad as the so-called 'botches', which don't even really classify as botches.
Trish had the benefit of six years of mic time to practise, and was constantly pushed heavily so that she'd achieve maximum popularity. I'm sure Melina could achieve similar results had she received a similar effort from management. Her mic work in her first year was certainly stronger than Trish in hers, so there's no telling where she could've gone. Trish herself has praised Melina time and time again for her talents.
And Trish had the benefit of wrestling almost exclusively with the likes of Molly, Victoria and Jazz for years. Excluding the occasional match or two, Trish never had to put up with women on the level of Maria, Candice, early Michelle, Alicia, Maryse etc. Melina proved in her matches with Trish, Mickie, Michelle and Beth that she can go with the best of them if actually given a solid opponent.
Hey, I was just pointing out that all of your favourites seem to share those similar characteristics. I doubt you'd be so willing to praise Torrie Wilson if she wasn't blonde. Just saying.

I guess becoming the first ever 2x Divas Champion, winning the highly prestigious Divas Championship tournament (she had to beat Brie Bella AND Eve just to even reach the final!) and almost becoming the first female to win the MITB briefcase counts for nothing?  |

Maryse won most stylish. What more could you want? More importantly, what else matters? |

Maryse also became the second woman to win the Sexiest Diva award (or w/e it's called) on the site earlier this year. That's a lot more fun anyway.

I haven't read Maryse's Twitter in a while. Probably due to the fact that I deleted my Twitter. I do wish she would stop TwitPic'ing photos of her foundation though.  I suppose Melina did put more effort into social networking via her use of YouTube to connect with her fans. |

If I had known about these polls beforehand, I would probably have spammed the shit outta them voting for Maryse repeatedly. The fact she managed to win even without that kind of aid makes it all the more impressive. I haven't read Maryse's Twitter in a while. Probably due to the fact that I deleted my Twitter. I'm sure I've already told Tiarnan anyway that from Trish's retirement in 2006 through until Maryse's meteoric rise in 2008, Melina was my favourite diva (I didn't watch ECW, so I barely knew who Kelly was at this point).
