Season one was pretty much amazing except the finale which I didn't really like. Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the finale for season 1. The explosion was a littile OTT. Season 2's finale more than makes up for it, and the season as a whole blows the first season away. I just got done with my 2nd viewing a couple days ago. Watched the whole season in one night again. PS: There's a Walking Dead thread, and it can use some love lol. For future reference. I don't remember if there are spoilers tho so maybe this was the better way to go. Oh yeah, I forgot about this thread. The first 5 episodes were seriously great. The first episode might me one of the best pilots I've ever seen. I was hoping we'd find out what became of that crazy guy they left on the roof though. And although it was kind of assumed that they both died when the Dad started firing and attracting the zombies towards the house, I was expecting some follow up on the guy and the kid who helped Rick in the first episode. Even if it was just a case of him finding them as zombies at some point. I'm so looking forward to season 2. I'll probably watch it all within a week or so. Btw, it's kind of an awful birthday gift to give someone season one of a show on DVD because then if you like it you basically have no choice but to run out and buy the rest. So basically the gift ends up costing you money!

I’m onto episode 7 of season 2.
Daryl and Maggie are my new favourite characters. I still like Glen and Dale too. I can’t stand Shane, Lori or Andrea though. I wouldn't shed a tear if a walker eats their brains before the season ends.

Yeah, upon re-watching the whole series I hated Andrea. I don't know how I ever considered her a favorite of mine. Wish Dale would've just let her stay at the CDC.

I liked her sister though before she died.
Herschel reminds me of a creepy old man who'd be a villain in a horror movie. I'm half expecting him to turn evil on the rest of their asses at some point (beyond the fact that he keeps those walkers in the barn).
I'm just thinking out loud here btw. I know anyone else reading this who watches the show will already know what goes down, lol.

I liked her sister though before she died. She was almost as useless as Carol.

Speaking of useless, other than Herschel and Maggie, all the other new people so far in season 2 are pretty worthless. Herschel's other daughter. His (step?)son. That other, older woman. I can't even remember their names whch says it all.
I'm hoping Maggie stays a regular character. I'm going to try finish season 2 in the next couple days.

I finally started this when I was sick. I'm only a few episodes into Season 2 though. I'm hoping somewhere along the line Glenn kills Rick and takes shit over. Actually, Rick and his whole family could be used as bait, really.

I only have a few episodes of season 2 left to go. Sophia being in the barn all along was kinda dumb. If I'm looking for a missing person then there's no way in hell I don't check inside every nearby building. The fact it took them all a week or however much time was supposed to have passed to realise something was up in that barn makes them look like idiots. And even when they did find out it was only by chance because of Glenn's horny ass.

Welcome to the Walking Dead It is with absolute sincerity when I say that both of you can go strap yourselves into the RV and stew. Don't you think if Sophia made it to the barn she would have made it to the farm house, and therefor the good sis Hershel would've mentioned it when they said they were looking for ha?

Sophia wasn't exactly the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Getting out from under the car before anyone, running into the woods instead of towards people that could help, leaving almost as soon as Rick took the zombies away instead of waiting, then getting lost on her way back. I really wouldn't put staying in a barn instead of running to the house past her tbh.
And Burke brings up a good point. They were about 50 feet away from the barn. It is a little strange that nobody checked it out or even walked by and heard the zombies in all that time. Especially with them looking for a missing person, and Shane being Shane. But my point was just that this isn't the only time in the series the characters look like idiots. It's seems to happen a lot.

Anyways now that people are watching this, Jayzero and I need to clock last night's episode, so Burke and MC better swerve. - The choreography of the bridge attack was amazing. I lived for Daryl dropkicking the shit out of that zombie into the river.
- Andrea continues to blossom into the Barack Obama of Woodbury.
- It really emphasized how many strong members they've lost when Glenn has to step up and be the leader in Rick's absence of sanity.
- The last ten minutes was the most exciting thing I've seen on TV since... well, the barn burning.
- When Maggie ran out with semi-automatics and she and Beth starting tag-teaming the sniper.
- Carol continues to be the most useless member of the group. The bitch hid under a corpse and cried.
- Michonne stalking the field popping zombie's heads like PEZ. Rick cuttin' throats. Daryl and Merle saving the day.
- And next week when the good sis Andrea reunites with her people, and she, Michonne, Rick, Daryl and Merle storm Woodbury as one team full of bad bitches... girl. It's goin' down.
