I just heard about this and now I'm really excited. Though I think a show like this would be better off on HBO or something, where you can show more violence and gore, but hey zombies are zombies.

What were your thoughts on the season premiere last night? Carl and Lori didn't leave me wishing they would be eviscerated by the nearest walker like I thought they would. Still here for the possibility of Lori's baby popping out of her stomach like the thing from Alien though. And I don't know what I missed, but I had no clue why Andrea was sick. All though I'm here for that Black Mama, White Mama dynamic.

I'm watching Talking Dead tonight even tho I didn't watch the actual Walking Dead for CM Punk and Shirley from Community
I'm going to start watching this on Netflix soon. I just have to commit myself to 2 seasons of hour long shows.

Oh my god I fucking LOVE this show!! I will forever loathe Target for making me too tired to stay up for the premiere 2 years ago (and many other reasons as well) I'm 3 years behind but that's about to change. This week. I'm putting my thoughts in spoilers in case any of you have been living under the same rock as me cause it's too amazing to spoil.. Not the little girl in bunny slippers tho  It was so damn sad when the dude was pointing the gun at his wife. I felt his pain. I couldn't. Then when the partner (who I just knew I was gonna hate from the first damn scene. He just has one of those faces) kissed homeboy's wifey?? I actually screamed mother fucker at the TV. I know I know who screams at a TV but fuck that fool. Flowers weren't that dead. Me when the horse died:  Then when he almost shot himself but found the door in the tank at the last second:  I fucking love this show. Starting episode 2. Right now.

I've been watching this all night. I'm on Season 2 Episode 4. Shane is the worst kind of piece of shit it the whole god damn world. From the first scene I was like I hate that guy, and he just keeps getting worse. He's not even good at being a bad guy. He's so predictable. He just sucks at life. Eagerly awaiting him getting shred to a billion little slivers of nothing.
I like Dale and Andrea. I hope they make up, they're my faves. Glenn's cool too if he can get some screen time.

Towards the end of season 2 now. They put the hostage dude on his knees in the barn and my xbox live went out  Shane is just as annoying as ever. Still waiting on him to bite the dust. Or rather, have the dust bite him. (get it? cause dead people turn to dust?....*cough*....) Andrea gets on my nerves now too. Maggie has replaced her as my favorite girl. So bummed every time little Damien almost gets offed but doesn't. Can't I just watch him and Shane die terrible terrible deaths please? They can die together since they love eachother so damn much. |

I haven't really been a fan of Rick since the beginning. He especially got on my nerves in season 2, but I hated Shane so much I had to root for him. Didn't like his whole breakdown and "This ain't a democracy" line at the end. This ain't Bring It On. So I fully trust that I will hate him when I start catching up on season 3. Was he the one that locked the guy outside with the zombies in that one ep? idr |

I keep meaning to start this, but then something else gets my interest first. I will eventually, because I absolutely love the comic books and the guy playing Glenn is gorgeous, but mostly because of the comics.

Halfway through season 3. I can't believe there's been this many episodes since I tried watching the premier. I swear it was like 3 weeks ago. I'm 4 episodes in, got 3 more to catch up before tomorrow's finale. Lori just died. That was pretty sad. Rick's fault. If he hadn't locked the dude out to die..
He's getting on my nerves acting like this now. Ever since they took the kid hostage in season 2 and he wanted to kill him or leave him somewhere. I understand it's been a while and the world is changing, but all these people that helped his dumbass that didn't know him, now he's not returning the favor to anybody. The man and his son in episode 1 could've let him die, Glenn could've let him die, Hershel could've told him to fuck off, but they all helped him. Now all he's doing is telling people to fuck off. He's a total dick, and I don't like him. His voice get's on my nerves too.
I did appreciate him taking the machete to homeboy trying to claim the prison tho. He was giving me Shane vibes and he would've totally gotten everyone killed.
Aside from him, I appreciate that they've made the rest of the group likable this year. Lori wasn't annoying, Carl isn't a spawn of satan walking around like last season, and there are no Shane types. So now I like everyone in the group. T-Dog wasn't a big loss. He annoyed me and was pretty useless from day one. Nice of him to sacrifice himself for Carol tho, even if he was already bit.
I like Michonne, I'm scared the Governor is gonna try some shit with her. Speaking of, I knew he was gonna be an asshole. If anything seems too good to be true in this show, it usually is.
Merle hasn't gotten on my nerves yet I like the one prisoner guy that didn't shoot Rick, the one with the mustache is iffy tho. We'll see. |
