The controls are fine, the game just feels like a beta that was never really completed. It's playable, and when you know what you're doing it's fun. The movement is just a little too sensitive, the AI isn't all that, and the enemies spawn weird. Also the map never really tells you where to go and the world itself is a tad bland.
It's not a terrible game, just don't go in expecting a Warcraft or Old Republic quality MMO.
On a positive note the opening cinematic is da shiznit and the overall story of the game is actually pretty clever.

So I actually did manage to play and complete at least one season on Football Manager 2013. I went Tottenham.  Screw goal difference. |

So Mutant Couch, did you ever actually play DC Universe?
I bought The Last of Us today. I'm so terrible at it, but I like it so far. I like that it's so heavily story driven instead of just about stealth and head shots.

Almost. I created my character and then played for 2-3 minutes and promptly lost interest. I might try to Star Wars one, but probably not.

I'm thinking of getting that tomorrow after work or sometime this weekend. The reviews for it make it sound like the greatest game ever. I'm going to try and keep my expectations realistic though. |

I really can't wait to play it then.
I love horror themed games. Other than the first two Resident Evil games and the early Silent Hill games (part 4 is scarier than most horror movies imo) there aren't many that are truly creepy though.

I got The Last of Us. I didn't think I was going to when the first two places I went to were sold out but the next one had it.
And of course, because I haven't used my PS3 in months there's a long ass system update to do.
EDIT: I'm 20% through the game. I really like it so far.

I think I'm about three quarters of the way through The Last of Us now.
This is already my favourite game in years. The last games I enjoyed more than this both came out in 2004 (GTA: San Andreas and Silent Hill: The Room).
It's weird. I haven't really given a crap about video games the past 5 years or so and now suddenly there's been 3 games I loved just in the past few months in Tomb Raider, Walking Dead (yeah, it's like over a year old but I only got it a couple months ago) and now TLOU. And GTA V is just 3 months away!
