Just finished Mass Effect 2. The boss battle was actually pretty easy, that human-reaper thing was creepy as fuck. I'm so mad though, I ended up choosing Grunt as a team leader or something (this was like the second or third time you had to choose someone to lead, and for some reason, Grunt seemed ideal) and he ended up dying. Everyone else lived though, but I actually liked him. Why couldn't Jacob or Mordin have died? I didn't give a shit about either of them.

I was was in a deep nervous sweat that whole ending when I played. I was so paranoid about my choices. But I made it through the whole thing with everyone still alive. (Well, I didn't make it in time to save the crew. Poor Kelly)
It remains my favorite ending to any game ever. I kept my saved game from right before going into the relay so I can go back and play it whenever I please. I love it. ME2 is the best game of my favorite video game series. So I guess that makes it my favorite game.
3 is fun, it's just kind of a disappointment. You pretty much need the extended edition DLC (which I believe is free) before you play. Otherwise the ending will piss you off. It was really controversial. The game itself is amazing (and hard as a mother fucking fuck) up until the very very end. But the extended edition made it better.
2 reigns supreme though. (3 is better than 1)

I'm currently playing through the new HD re-release of Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, this game has aged so well. It's easily my favourite fighting game of all time.

My friend let me borrow Mass Effect 3 and I can say this is easily my favorite game to come out this year. The beginning is so intense and emotional. This game literally gives me chills when I play it.

Download the extended ending!!!!! It's free. DO NOT play that game with the original ending. I hate this game already. All I wanna do is search systems for more military assets but then like 345654 reapers come in and stop me. It's annoying.

I beat ME3 just now and watched two endings, the Synthesis/Green and the blue one. The Synthesis ending was kind of creepy, even if it was technically the 'happy' ending. I think I preferred the blue ending though. I haven't watched the red one, but I've read up on it.
And I just watched the original blue/green endings on youtube. Had I gotten this game when it came out, I would've been pissed. Wtf kind of ending was that?
Needless to say, this game is great. It's long, I think I put close to 60 hours on ME3, and probably the same on the first two. But well worth it. I'm kinda iffy on if I wanna do another playthrough though. Like I want to because Miranda died and I didn't want to end up with Ashley, but it doesn't really matter who you end up with ultimately. And at times it got depressing as fuck. Still it was a great game with a bunch of amazing supporting characters. So I'm glad I took the time to play it.

I don't know when I started it, but I've been playing Dragon Age II, and honestly it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. There were a few annoying bugs that kinda took away from gameplay a bit, but beyond that it was pretty enjoyable, I loved the improved battle system.
The story was alright too, it felt more like a filler, but I was still satisfied with it in the end. Apparently there's gonna be a third one, which makes sense, I really hope that Hawke and the Warden make an appearance, or tie into the game some how, it'd actually be awesome if they were part of my team.
Oh that was my main gripe w/ the game btw, was your teammates/squad members. I only really liked Isabella, Aveline, Bethany, and Varric. Everyone else was annoying. In the end, I ended up killing the two people I romanced, and felt no remorse because they were both fucking morons. I almost wanna replay the first one, but these games are way too time consuming to play back to back.

I completed the Telltale Walking Dead game. It was like a Metal Gear Solid game in that it was so cinematic and seemed to be 80% story/cut-scenes and 20% gameplay. I thought it was great though. The episode with the family of cannibals was by far my favourite.
I loved all the difficult decisions you have to make and how tense the atmosphere is throughout. Having like 10 seconds to decide whether or not to cut your arm off or risk the rest of your body getting infected by not had my head spinning. Or trying to decide whether to kill someone or let them go and take the chance that they'll come back to screw you later. Made me kinda sympathise with Rick on the show and in the comic having to make calls like that all the time.
The ending was so sad. I'm glad Clementine survived though.

I have Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 on my Playstation and want to play one, but I'm not sure if I should play 8 or 9. I've never beaten 9 but 8 is my favorite. I feel so conflicted

Has anyone played DC Universe Online? Is it worth bothering with?

I've played it.
It's quite fun, but to make the most of it, you need plenty of space on your hard drive, and a decent Internet connection.

Creating a character is fun, then running around Gotham and Metropolis is cool for a while. The game itself is really glitchy and the gameplay is choppy. It's fun for what it is tho. I enjoy it. If you're interested check it out. It's free so why not?
Also, it takes a really long time to download. I've heard everything from 3 hours to 48 depending on how good your internet/download speed is.

It's downloading now. The controls aren't wonky, right? This other game looked promising then when it got time to play the controls were A,W,S,D and they only took you in one direction with no turning. It was super lame.
Okay, I see what you mean about the download time. I'm just now at 1%.
