Also it should be noted that I loved the dialogue in Saints 3, along with the supporting characters. Viola especially. Viola's my favourite too, although I also loved Kinzie. I absolutely hate that Viola dies in the canon ending That was the canon ending?! I thought it was the other one! Noooo!!

As far as I know, they didn't find her body, so she could still be alive. Plus one of the main storylines of SR3 was about cloning, so there's another way back for her.

Decided to play Dance Central 2 (after an 8 month hiatus..), only played it twice since I got it.
I've been trying to do this all day, it's fun but really hard |:

Final Fantasy XIII
This game is long as hell. But I'm pretty sure I'm close to beating it.
Has anyone played Mass Effect? I was debating if that'd be my next purchase/series that I'd invest my time into, but I'm not sure. I liked Dragon Age, but I never played the sequel.

Final Fantasy XIII This game is long as hell. But I'm pretty sure I'm close to beating it. Has anyone played Mass Effect? I was debating if that'd be my next purchase/series that I'd invest my time into, but I'm not sure. I liked Dragon Age, but I never played the sequel. Hated XIII. I miss the classic Final Fantasies. VII, VIII & IX are amazing and they need to go back to that. XII was fun too tho, for a Star Wars rip off. Dragon Age 2 sucked. Don't play it. Mass Effect is my favorite video game. Part 1 has many flaws but it's an amazing story, in an amazing universe, with great characters and fun gameplay. I could not recommend any game more than Mass Effect. It's a must own, or at least, a must play. The first hour or so is slow, but if you made it through Dragon Age you can make it through the beginning of Mass Effect. The final 3 hours are fantastic. Mass Effect 2 is a flawless game. Mass Effect 3 is controversial but still a great game up to the ending. I'm not just recommending Mass Effect to you, I'm begging you to play it. If you like Dragon Age, and if you're into Sci-Fi, you'll love it.

Thanks Jay, just ordered it.
Yeah I'm forcing myself to finish XIII, I hate the linear game play and the story is confusing as fuck. Some of the character designs are cool, but this is by far my least favorite FF game.

Mass Effect.
This game is seriously pissing me off and I'm not even that far in it. I just became captain or whatever and went to explore some planets and shit. Well I land on some irrelevant planet, and find this underground lab thing or whatever and kill off the hoard of zombies/husks. And that's done. Then I go to the abandoned camp and get research, then drive around and do more research on the minerals. Then there's these scavengers that have killed me twice and what's bull shit is that all that work I did prior is lost and I have to do it again. By the fourth time, the zombies killed me and I just turned the shit off.
Aside from that, it's really fun, but I wish there was some sort of check point or something that saved for me, because I hate doing the same thing over and over again.

You can save the game at any time in the menu.
Well, now you can. I'm not sure with those scavenger mission things. They did away with that shit cause everyone hated it, and driving the Mako sucked lol. 2 & 3 don't have that shit.

Sleeping Dogs is really good, but the storyline is way too short. I intended to use it to bridge the gap until GTA 5 is released, but it didn't really work.
Dating Emma Stone was a highlight, even if the main character ditched her as soon as he got her into bed. How am I supposed to connect with the character if he's only nice to women until he gets what he wants?

I'm pretty close to finishing Mass Effect. I can't stop playing, it's like reading a book and you're at the climax (lol) and can't put it down. Also that sex scene was hilarious.

I'm done! I hit level 50, but I read if you do a second play through, the level cap becomes 60 and when you play the second game, some of it carries over (I'm assuming instead of level 1, you start at like 5). Holy shit that game was long, but I did just about every side quest except for the one that I forgot to finish regarding the ExoGeni, and I'm kinda excited since the next game cut out the Mako. But Mass Effect was awesome, especially since I'm into that whole space odyssey thing. Oh and that final boss battle was a bitch! I think it took me three tries. I'm not entirely sure if I wanna do another playthrough though, even if I get to keep my level/stats. I feel bad though, I ended up choosing Kaiden to die. Ashley was kind of a bitch, but her and Tali were the two people I consistently used as back up, and I never really used anyone else until I sent Ashley to guide the Salarians in the end. I wish I'd picked 'Solider' class over 'Vanguard' one. Great game though, awesome story behind it as well. I don't think I'll look at the night sky the same again. But it's definitely one of my top 10 favorites. Thanks for the recommendation Jayzero, definitely worth the 51 hours spent on it.

I got talked into playing WWE '12 online this weekend. Every match seemed like it was against a coked up Kurt Angle. It was only slightly better than playing a FPS as I didn't have little kids threatening to bang my mom and then t-bag my character's dead corpse.

I just started Mass Effect 2, going into it was pretty cool, I liked that it just took you straight to the action. The only thing I don't really like is that they incorporated ammo. I'd rather just upgrade my gun like last game to where it wouldn't overheat. Worrying about running out of ammo is something I don't really want on my plate.
