Ronda Rousey, the number one contender to the NFA Women's Championship, is out for her championship match, and the crowd is going crazy her for! The newly crown NFA Women's Champion
Eva Marie is out next, and the crowd is really letting her know how they feel about her - yikes. The two women are standing opposite each other in the ring, this is going to be good! Wait, who's that? Oh my god, that's
Nia Jax and
Tamina Snuka. Nia and Tamina slide into the ring and immediately go after Rousey. The two women mercilessly beat down the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, putting a stop to this match before it even started. Ronda tries to fight them off, but she fails to do so. Nia hits Ronda with a huge spinebuster, and then follows it up with an even bigger leg drop. Tamina Snuka then comes off of the top rope with a Superfly Splash to complete their assault on the number one contender. The NFA medical team swarm around Ronda Rousey, she appears to be trying to get to her feet, but they won't allow her to move. The head of the medical team tells the ring announcer that Ronda is unable to compete in this match. Eva Marie requests a microphone from ringside, "Here is your winner by forfeit , and STILL NFA Women's Champion - Eva Marie!" she cackles in delight as the entire building boos her 'victory'.
We're not slowing down for once second tonight, because the next match starts now!
Sami Zayn makes his entrance to the delight of the NFA fans in attendance. His opponent is
Tarry, the man who went to a double DQ with
Roman Reigns on our last show. Tarry has a microphone, "Listen up, Sami, it's nothing personal, but who have you beat to earn a match against me?" the crowd boos Tarry's inquisition, "Look, you go out there and fight some people on your own level, gradually move up the rankings, and then come back for a rematch. No hard feelings, eh, mate?" Tarry holds his hand out to shake Zayn's hand, trying to shake on the deal that was just pitched. Sami looks to the crowd for advice, and that advice comes in the form of a 'No!" chant. Rather than shaking Tarry's hand, Sami instead socks Tarry in the jaw. The bell rings and this one is underway! Tarry knocks Zayn to the ground with a vicious right hand of his own. He then repeatedly stomps on Zayn's head as the referee tries to pull Tarry away. Roman Reigns' music interrupts the beat down. Tarry looks around the crowd for Reigns, which is the perfect distraction for Sami as he school boys Tarry for the win. Roll-ups really are Tarry's Kryptonite, aren't they? Reigns hops the barricade and enters the ring. Tarry turns around into a huge Spear, which leaves the Brit down on the mat. Reigns leaves the ring, having sent a message to his rival.
NFA Cruiserweight Champion
Finn Bálor is backstage.
Jason approaches him looking pissed. "Hey Jason, how are ya?" "How am I?" Jason snaps back, "Finn, the way you won the championship on the last show wasn't cool, you know?" "Oh? How so?" "I mean, I did all of the work, and you tossed me out of the ring and took of advantage of that, that wasn't really fair." "Look Jason, I did what I had to do to win the title, and you would have done exactly the same, you know that. Y'know, I don't want us to get off on the wrong foot, I think you're a great talent, and I'd love to get to know you better," Jason blushes at the thought of getting to know Finn Bálor better, "And we've got a chance to do just that, pal, because Brandon has booked me in a tag team match against
AJ Styles and
Rey Mysterio on the next show, and I get to choose my own partner. So whadya say, Jason, do you wanna be my partner?" "Hell yeah! I mean ... yeah, sure. That'd be cool." Jason continues to try and play it cool as Finn pats him on the shoulder and walks off down the corridor.
Jimmy and
Jey Uso are in the ring ready to make their NFA debuts.
NFA Commissioner Brandon walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand, "Boys, I'm afraid I've brought you here under false pretences," The Usos exchange a confused look, "You see, I didn't invite you here for tag team action, because we don't actually have a tag team division right now. No, I invited you to join us here tonight to compete against each other, with the winner earning themselves a NFA Cruiserweight Division contract. Only one of you will be employed by NFA at the end of the match, so may the best twin win!" Jey Uso shouts after Brandon, trying to get him to reconsider, and then turns around towards his twin brother, who damn near superkicks Jey's head off of his shoulders! Jimmy goes for the quick cover, but Jey kicks out. "What the hell, man?" Jey screams out in utter confusion. "I'm not letting you hold me down anymore!" Jimmy retorts. Jimmy grounds his brother and delivers some fast, but hard, punches to the face. He goes for the cover again, but Jey once again powers out. Jey takes his brother down, and this time delivers punches of his own. The two man continue to brawl around the ring. Jimmy knocks his brother down with a clothesline, walks over the corner, and removes the top turnbuckle pad. Jey kips up to the his feet, and charges at Jimmy. Jimmy side steps, sending Jey colliding with the exposed turnbuckle. Jimmy scoops his brother up onto his shoulders, and delivers a vicious Samoan Drop for the win. Jimmy poses above his unconscious brother to celebrate his win.
It appears we're having technical difficulties here tonight, because our feed has just turned to static. Bare with us while we fix it. Okay, we're back up and running now, sorry for the interruption. Wait, this doesn't look like NFA though, this is handycam footage of some kind of laboratory. We hear a woman's voice, "If anyone is seeing this, I need your help. This a secret facility in Stamford, CT where illegal genetic experiments are being performed on humans. I was never supposed to find this place, but I did so by accident, and now I need help taking them down. Please tell everyone you know about this, don't let them succeed with their diabolical plan. We need to stop
Project Genesis before it's too late! End of transmission."
Hopefully we've put a stop the interruptions tonight, because our next match starts now! We have women's action with
Bayley taking on
Maryse. Maryse is accompanied by her husband,
The Miz. Bayley makes her way to the ring next, and she looks like a shell of her former self, obviously still shaken up by the incident involving Burke that happened on our first show. The two women prepare to lock up, when all of a sudden, a couple of police officers appear at ringside and demand that Bayley exit the ring. She complies, and they quickly cuff her and begin reading her rights to her. It appears that she's being arrested in connection to Burke's shooting. The referee has no choice but to count Bayley out, giving Maryse the win.
Burke appears on stage, "Officers, where are you taking her?" he asks, "I really don't think it was her!" The officers take Bayley away, as Burke watches on.
John Cena makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction, as usual. "Tonight, I start my rise through the ranks, as my quest to become NFA World Heavyweight Champion really takes off. NFA 3 will go down in history as the night that John Cena kicked off the 'Come Get Some!' Open Challenge, so without further ado - You want some? Come get some!"
Seth Rollins' music hits the speakers, and here he comes! Seth and Cena lock up in the centre of the ring. Rollins has a headlock cinched in, but John Cena fires him into the ropes, and takes him down with a shoulder tackle on the rebound. Cena connects with the Protoplex and attempts the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Rollins kicks Cena in the head from the floor. Rollins hits Cena with the Pedigree, but Cena kicks out at 2. Cena hits a Fisherman Suplex for a near count. Rollins recovers and kicks Cena in the side of the head, knocking him down to the canvas, Rollins then climbs to the top rope and dives off onto Cena. Cena quickly hops up and catches Rollins, he throws him onto his shoulders, and delivers a huge Attitude Adjustment. Cena covers Seth, but Rollins somehow manages to kick out. Cena pulls Rollins onto his feet, and hoists him up for another, but Rollins fights his way out. He kicks Cena in the gut, and backs into the corner, he attempts the Curb Stomp, but Cena moves. Cena turns Rollins around into the Attitude Adjustment. Cena pins Seth for the win. After the match, Cena and Rollins shake hands, a great display of sportsmanship between the two!
Burke is in the locker room on the phone, trying to get some answers about
Bayley's arrest. "Burke, I have some information that you may want to hear," Burke looks up at the person talking to him, it's
Dustin Rhodes of all people, "About two months ago, I received a phone call from a woman inquiring about who used to make my Goldust wigs. So I told the woman and didn't give it another thought, until the day after NFA 1, when my wig maker called me to tell me that they were worried, because they had delivered a brunette wig on the day of NFA 1 to the arena, which is pretty sketchy, I think you'd agree." Burke stands up, "So what you're saying is, the woman who shot me wasn't a brunette, and that she was just wearing a brown wig?" "I mean, unless Bayley is secretly bald, then yes, the woman who shot you most likely isn't a brunette after all." "Thanks man, you have no idea how much this means to me!" Burke races out of the locker room, probably heading towards the local police station, to get Bayley freed.
It's now time for our main event! NFA World Heavyweight Champion
Tiarnán makes his way to the ring for his title defence with
Melina and
John Morrison by his side.
NFA Commissioner Brandon makes his way out next, "And your mystery opponent - from Australia - let me introduce you all to
Wolfgang!" The debuting Aussie makes his way to the ring to cheers, and swooning, from the crowd. Tiarnán is pissed off, he really doesn't want to defend his championship against anyone, let alone somebody who has never stepped foot in a NFA ring before. The two men lock up, but Wolfgang quickly shoves Tiarnán over onto his back. Wolfgang then poses much to the delight of the fans, but definitely to the distaste of Tiarnán, Morrison and Melina. Tiarnán lunges at Wolfgang, but Wolfgang steps aside, sending a foolish looking Tiarnán crashing to the mat. Wolfgang poses for the fans once again. Tiarnán jumps up and punches Wolfgang in the face, catching the challenger by surprise. Tiarnán kicks Wolfgang in the ribs, and drops him with a DDT. The NFA World Heavyweight Champion covers, but the challenger kicks out with theatrics, sending Tiarnán flying into the air. Wolfgang lifts Tiarnán into the air, and holds him up there for over a minute, he then begins doing reps with the World Heavyweight Champion, before throwing him to the ground with a Gorilla Press Slam. Wolfgang covers for the 2 count. I thought he had it there! Wolfgang stands up, poses once again for the fans, and then hits the ropes and connects with a huge Boomerang Clothesline on Tiarnán. John Morrison jumps up onto the apron and poses, distracting Wolfgang and the referee, allowing Melina to sneak into the ring and hand something to Tiarnán. Tiarnán pops whatever was handed to him into his mouth, and continues to lay on the mat. Wolfgang turns around, and pulls Tiarnán to his feet. Tiarnán then sprays Wolfgang in the eyes with the green mist! Tiarnán quickly connects with the Reverse DDT to retain his championship. "Not so fast, Tiarnán!" Brandon's voice shouts out from the stage, "You don't get away that easy, because on the next show, you'll be teaming with John Morrison and Melina to face
Cesaro,
Wolfgang, and
Jessica. And here's the best part, if anyone manages to pin you, Tiarnán, you'll be defending your championship against them the very same night!" Tiarnán and friends are not happy with that announcement!
