I got it and I like it so far. It’s like a slasher/horror version of the Telltale Walking Dead games.
The story so far is like a mixture of Cabin in the Woods, Scream and Friday the 13th. And there was a little Saw in the part I just passed too.

After 7 straight hours of playing I completed it. So it's not that long. I loved it though. Your choices throughout the game impact and determine who dies or survives until the end so there's a bunch of different possible endings. I only managed to keep one person alive. I'm gonna play through again and try to save a lot more next time. |

I was just skimming through a walkthrough of this to see if I wanna go pick it up today, since the trailer didn't give me much of an idea about the gameplay, and I think I'm going to.
Hayden Panettiere being the main character kinda sealed it for me.

When you played did you answer organically, like what you would personally do in each situation, or did you try to take a route you thought was "right?" Or, in your case, did you just try to be as awful as you could? Because I know how you are when you play games.
I just started and I'm trying to decide how I'm gonna play.

I actually wasn't mean for the sake of being mean, believe it or not.
I tried to react to each situation based on how I thought the character I was controlling at the time would react.
I'm definitely gonna do a future game where I act like a dick with everyone and make ridiculous decisions the whole way through though just to see how it ends up.

I was so shocked when Sam died, lol. I figured that since she came off as the protagonist, and since they landed Hayden for her part, that no matter what I did she'd be the one guaranteed to make it to the end.
I'm happy with who did survive, though. Mike was easily my favorite character, and initially I hated Emily - I even tried to kill her - but the fact that she survived that attempt made me be like okay, alright, I'ma root for this girl. So I'm glad they survived, and cool I guess that Chris and Matt did as well? I'd trade them for Sam and Jessica, though. I already wanna do another play through, and this time try to make all the 'right' decisions. |
