Rita's look is just as iconic as the Power Rangers', so to change it so much is baffling. Also, I'm still not okay with them casting a white actress to play a character who isn't white, that doesn't sit right with me at all.
Having said that, I like the costume design, but it's just not Rita. If she was playing Trakeena on the other hand, then it would be perfect.

While I'm not saying I disagree, they literally race swapped everyone but Jason and she's the only one people are talking about lol. But I definitely wish she had been Asian (and that all of the characters had remained their original race, for that matter). Honestly though, she looks like Gaga. |

Okay, I actually like that look for Rita in the new images.
And I assume the White Ranger shows up at some point, and that's why there's a silver suit.
EDIT: Oh, those coloured things aren't the suits. I thought they were them folded up when I saw the picture on my iPod this morning, lol

Red and to a lesser extent Pink look like a tyrannosaur and a pterodactyl but the others look like birds or insects or something. Delete it, Lionsgate.
