Speaking of the arrows, I got so used to using them in the beginning that even after getting all the guns I'm still using them as my primary weapon and running around like I'm Daryl from Walking Dead. I realised it when I was in that huge shootout towards the end and it dawned on me, "I have a SHOTGUN which could blow these bitches heads off with one shot...why the hell am I still playing around with these arrows??"
Yes! I fucking loved that thing. Especially when you get the little add on. I was literally lighting bitches up lol. My favorite addition to this game was the Arkham style stealth, so that was my primary weapon throughout the game.

The map is so huge.
After I completed the main game I wanted to set up camp and save at the Shipwrecked Beach because that was my favourite area in the game. I tried to get there myself without cheating and using the “fast travel” option. After spending half an hour running round the Coastal Forest unable to find a way out though I gave up and just used fast travel.

I was surprised at how violent this game was. Not that I'm complaining, but that part where you're thrown into the flesh pit, the surroundings were gnarly. I love the gameplay though, and I've found myself using the bow until I realized how effective the shotgun is, but the bow is so badass. Especially when you get a headshot.
I still need to find a bunch of relics and shit, but the free roam is awesome. Such a good revamp.

Also did this happen to anybody? It happened to me and I was about to just quit all together.
But after like the 15th try I finally got it.

I had a weird glitch like that but I think it was at a different point.
The most annoying part of the game to me was near the end when you have to fix up that elevator. You all know what part I'm talking about. That was so annoying. I had to look up a walkthrough on YouTube otherwise I'd have been stuck there all day wondering what to do.

I thought the puzzles were relatively easy compared to previous games.
I didn't come across any major glitches. The only thing that would tick me off is her climbing ax wouldn't always grab on even if I pushed the button. She would just slide down the cliff to her death. Or she'd catch on, and the cinematic camera made the X/Square prompt almost impossible to see so I'd fall.
Other than that this game was flawless for me gameplay wise. I turned it on and didn't turn it off until I beat it.

I just finished it. I really, really liked it. And don't get me wrong, the entire game was fun, but in the beginning I still felt like this wasn't really Tomb Raider, but they did a great job of divulging more about the ancient story as the game went on and I got really into it. I was terrified of fighting the Oni, and when that first group drops in on you I assumed my guns would be useless so I tried to dodge their attacks and penetrate their armor with the axe, which lasted about five seconds, so when I re-spawned I shot them and I was surprised how easy they were to kill, lol.
The wolves in the bush were scary as shit. Anything involving the wolves, really. Grim and Roth were the saddest deaths. The whole time I thought the power was gonna be transferred to Sam and she would be the final boss battle, but I liked the ending we got better.
The credits are rolling as I type this so I haven't really gotten a chance to take a step back and gather my thoughts on the whole game, but I liked it, and all of my original concerns that they'd turned Lara into a little bitch washed away as the game went on. I loved whenever she would talk shit during battle. I killed that guy too. Only because I thought I would get some trophy/achievement for putting him out of his misery though. If I had known I wouldn't then I would have left him there so he could spend a little longer realising the pain and consequences of fucking with Lara Croft. I actually didn't kill him at first because I thought it would be uncharacteristic, but when I started to walk away he warned the others that I was coming, so I shot him in the face. Her telling him to, "Go to hell." so bluntly was my first glimpse of the Lara that we've known for almost two decades.

I'm still only at 72% overall complete. I don't know if I have the patience to aim for 100% and hunt for and collect every document, relic, etc.
Is it wrong that I kinda like hunting animals? No one tell PETA about this game.
There are some creepy parts (my favourite is when all the crazy cult things are marching before the end - although I still tried to jump out and attack them more than once before realising that wasn't too smart). I was just roaming around either the coastal forest or the mountain temple and fell down a hole in one of the small buildings. I noticed a creepy ghost like image on one of the walls. I scurried up the ladder and out of there immediately.

Lol yeah I saw something about ghosts when I was looking over the map and I wondered what that was about. Are there any enemies in the game when you free roam at the end? I went back to the forest wanting a wolf to fuck with me now that I had the rifle, but I didn't see any. Now that it looks like we've all beaten it, what were everyone's favorite parts? Like Jayzero said, I smiled when she got Mathias' pistol. Shame we didn't get a chance to use both. And Lara rising out of the blood river was iconic. Speaking of, I really liked the catacombs and burning palace parts.

Yeah, there are still enemies around at random points after you finish the main story. I like hunting the wild boars the best. I only ever see them near the beach though. My favourite part might be when you're in the forest towards the end and I think you're supposed to try and sneak past the guards without resorting to violence. I turned it into a wild shoot-out though and they sent the wolves at me. I didn't leave the area until I was the only thing left breathing.

When I went ahead I saw where they had the wolves in cages and I killed them too.

Also, a lot of my favourite parts were just random moments of exploration and not fights or stuff like that. My favourite areas in the game are the beach, the forest and Shanty town.
I wish you had the option to replay certain missions/areas whenever you want after you complete the game. For instance, if there was a certain part towards the end you liked you could jump straight to it without having to re-start the game and taking 8 hours to get there. I wish they had this option in Grand Theft Auto games too.

I can't really single out a favorite part. I enjoyed all of it. The Descent like moments through small narrow caves, popping bitches off one by one with my bow, the straight shoot outs, and the moments when all hell would break loose and everything was crumbling down around you. I'll try to remember parts that stand out tho. I loved climbing the tower, as simple as it was, it was very cinematic and had me on edge. Then the shot of Lara while Alex screamed "Lara Croft you are my hero!" was instantly iconic.
Crossing the bridge was fun. I liked the whole stop and go while Roth took everyone out.
Sliding down the river, then parachuting through the forest was awesome. I died so many times tho.
The burning palace was fun. When people started shooting at me I was like really people? Is this really the time? Then the end where you fall through the roof and jump for the helicopter. That whole level and the scene threatening the pilot then Roth's death. I needed water after that shit. I thought that was the end of the game.
The gondola shootout was fun, especially when the thing started falling apart and all the bad guys were begging you for help.
Fighting the big guy on the Endurance was fun and got me less scared about fighting big boy at the end. Alex's death pissed me off tho. He was hilarious, and he died for a damn wrench and a screwdriver. Really? All the junk and crashed shit everywhere and you couldn't find a wrench or screwdriver or anything that could possibly perform their simplistic tasks? I was mad when Lara just handed the tools to Reyes. I wanted to shove them into her chest and say "Here's your tools, bitch..." I hated Reyes. Bitch thought she was the leader in Lara Croft's game. Pssshhh. I loved it whenever Lara or Sam would tell her off.
My favorite part in the game cutscene wise was probably Whitman getting sushied up. Stevie Wonder could see he was evil.

Definitely the tombs, trying to solve the puzzles was just really fun to me and really satisfying when I figured them out on my own. But I loved the scene where she comes out of the blood, it gave me chills. And the action sequences, like where you're rushing down the river/waterfall and you'd have to shoot the wooden gates or when you're sliding down a steep hill and there's shit falling above you. It really added to the atmosphere.
But anytime there were guards around, I loved. I loved trying to snipe them without alerting them and just running around in stealth mode.
