I watched this tonight and it's given me false hope. But they've got so many unnecessary people on this show. Like what is the purpose of Mr. Terrific if you've got Felicity and vice versa. Same with Wild Dog. He was so fucking annoying. Like why not just use the guy that trained Laurel, at least he was hot and a badass. In regards to the false hope I'm gonna pretend to be an optimist for a second. The way they were talking about Black Siren (Oliver and Laurel's dad who should've died two seasons ago, not that I'm still bitter) was almost like they believe their Earth 1 Laurel is still in there. It sounds like she'll probably pick up the BC mantel again. But not just that, but Black Siren kept whooping Fake Canary's ass every scene the fought in. Like every single time. That was awesome. But also when they first fought each other in the beginning we got this: I'm hoping this is truly direction they go in though, let Katie be BC. Let the other girl become the original BC after becoming time displaced.

These shows are borderline unwatchable these days. Supergirl has been terrible this season so far, and The Flash hasn't been much better.
I don't even waste time on Arrow and Legends.

I was thinking about Arrow on my way to work this afternoon after playing Injustice. The show was so good in season 3, with Laurel and Roy and Team Arrow. Just... how did they manage to fuck it up that bad? It’s maddening they let shippers hijack the show.

You know I thought bringing KC back would do me some sort of justice, but honestly the way they did Laurel was so dirty. Like I watched the show for Laurel and had to sit through 3 seasons of waiting until she became the BC only for them to kill her off because they felt that her story was done? The poor girl wasn't even BC for a season. And at the time I didn't mind Felicity because by season 4 Laurel had really come into her own as the BC.
But the decision to kill her was just such a bad one for a lot of reasons and I feel like this is always a downhill slope for me because I won't stfu about it. To the point I originally intended to make, even if they were able to bring Laurel back (by putting her soul in Black Siren's body) I don't think I'd be able to commit to the show because of it's past indiscretion. And honestly why even bring in a new Black Canary when you've got Sara Lance still alive? Makes no sense.
Also one of the guys spearheading the Arrowverse got suspended by the CW/WB for sexual harassment. So the women's treatment on these shows should come as no surprise.
I tried to get back into Supergirl, but without Cat Grant, I'm just not into it. Legends of Tomorrow is too cheesy for me and they've really watered down Sara. As for the Flash, I'm just waiting for them to make up their mind on what to do with Caitlin/Killer Frost. Iris has been pretty great though.

Yeah, I just think that whole thing was irredeemable. It completely ruined the show for me.

I can't wait for Green Arrow and Black Canary to be added to the DCEU so Stephen Amell can bitch about it.

I just watched the first half of this year's crossover and it was ridiculously good. Kara and Oliver's banter is hilarious. And Sara and Alex were awesome. The fight scenes were insane too. Like yeah the CGI can be a little whack and every time Supergirl lands she's gotta pose, but this was so fun to watch. I know that each episode can't be like this, but there's no reason why the Arrowverse shows can't be this good consistently.

I'm still behind on the shows I do watch, but I'm gonna try to catch up on them today in time for the second half of the crossover.
I almost caught up a few days ago, but I needed a break after Felicity showed up on The Flash and it was probably the worst episode so far.

Honestly the crossover works as a one off kind of event and I feel like doesn't tie into any of the shows main story lines except maybe Iris and Barry's engagement. So I don't think you need to catch up on anything to watch it.
I finished the second half and aside from the last five minutes it was pretty great. Like I was not expecting Sara to be as important as she was, Alex too. Also the story line couldn't have come at a more relevant time. But I had no idea Killer Frost was such a bad bitch. Her sliding around like Iceman, does she do that on the Flash because I'm about to pick the show back up.
See this is what the Arrowverse needs. It felt like a live action comic book, but I mean that in the best way. I know they can't have the shows constantly be as epic as this event was, but damn. At least try. The fight scenes were amazing too. I don't know how they'll top themselves next year. It was quite the feat, making me care about some of these characters again.
But this is definitely worth watching, even if you haven't caught up.

But this is definitely worth watching, even if you haven't caught up. I'm only one episode behind now, so I'll most likely end up watching the whole thing today. I've really got nothing better to do, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I trust your opinion on this mess of a franchise more than some other people I know that still watch every damn show.

This bitch Felicity really ruins everything. Could she not have just waited to marry Oliver when she got home? Why'd she have to crash Barry and Iris' wedding?

Also, that weird waitress who spoke to Barry during the first attempt at the wedding was 100% his and Iris' daughter from the future.

I was hoping Iris would knock her out. Like this woman had her wedding invaded by nazis and this narcissistic herpe is seriously gonna do that?
