They should have killed Oliver off instead, then Laurel could have started to use the name Black Arrow as a tribute to him ... well, it has more to do with the show being called Arrow and it needing the main character to have the word 'Arrow' in their codename, but whatever.
Bottom line is, they shouldn't have fucking killed Laurel.

You know what, I've decided to just sit out the rest of this season of Arrow, and wait until after the finale airs to decide whether or not I'm going to watch it anymore. If Laurel is brought back to life in the finale, then I'll go back and watch the previous episodes feeling stupid for getting so worked up over something that was only temporary, but if she remains dead after the finale, then I won't go back to catch up, and will instead stop watching altogether.
The Flash still has me though, that show only gets better, to be honest.

Yeah I'm gonna do the same.
I had trouble with the Flash first season, but I really started to get hooked on the Earth 2 stuff. The last couple of episodes have had me convinced that I genuinely enjoy the show.

Oh my god. Legends of Tomorrow is such a drag. Like it's even hard to just watch for Sara at this point. Like just fucking kill Vandal Savage already, they're stretching it out and it's so unnecessary.

The Flash has been so good this season. I can't believe I didn't see that coming though.

I just watched the Legends of Tomorrow finale and it was alright. Overall the show felt like it was rushed, but I think that's because it kind of was. I'm gonna still give next season a shot because I think now that they've got more time to write the show. But I'm still thoroughly annoyed. Rip Hunter drops everyone off in May 2016 instead of late 2015 when they originally left. Sara finds out Laurel is dead and basically she threatens to kill Rip if he doesn't take her back to the time they left. Rip says he can't do that because if he does then all the Lance's will die including Sara and it'll affect the timeline. Now here's the thing, not that I've accepted Laurel's death, because I'm just as salty about it as the day we all found out the spoiler, but I can accept Rip not wanting to send her back to the original time because he didn't want her to die. But that bullshit excuse about not messing with the timeline? Fuck you sir. Is anyone gonna stop Barry from messing with the timeline then? He fucking changes it every other episode! Also I don't know if anyone cares, but they wrote off Hawkman and Hawkgirl and Rex Tyler came onto the show at the very end with an ominous warning to the Waverider crew, telling them not to go back on the ship or else they'd all die and then told everyone he was part of the 'Justice Society of America'.

The Flash's season finale was amazing.
I correctly predicted who would be revealed as the Man in the Iron Mask from the very first time he was shown, so I'm glad about that. I don't care how predictable it was, it just felt so perfect.
What I didn't see coming was that massive cliffhanger though. Bring on season three!

Well, this is annoying, because guess who was one of the more important members of the JSA? Black Canary.

You know what though, I'm kind of hoping that what Barry did at the end will have a ripple effect throughout all the DC shows and that it'll change what happened to Laurel. Like the backlash for killing her off is still going so fingers crossed that they use his actions as a catalyst to bring her back. I won't hold my breath though.

On one hand I'd love for that to happen because then all of this would have been a brilliant way to incorporate the shows as a crossover and we'd get Laurel back, but then on the other hand the three of us would look pretty stupid for getting so worked up over her death, lol.

The replies. The writers had no idea the "Who's in the grave?" gimmick would end with the answer ultimately being their own show.

So the big bad for season five is apparently named Anton Church, who doesn't exist in DC Comics. I'm assuming that because he's been compared to Idris Elba's character from The Wire, that he'll most likely turn out to be the final attempt at Vertigo, seeing as though he's one of Green Arrow's main villains*, and they've fucked him up both other times (once by killing him too early, and both times by reducing him to the villain of the week). It's not like I actually care though, because I haven't watched the last few episodes of season 4, and I don't intend to.
*(I had to say 'main villains' because I felt like The Trio in Buffy trying to figure out the plural for nemesis, lol).

- Report: 'Arrow' Season 5 Returning Colton Haynes for Several Episodes
Arrow may seem a little shorthanded going into the Season 4 finale, but Season 5 may yet return the team to its full strength. Even as one hero remains six feet under, Arrow Season 5 will reportedly return Colton Haynes as Roy Harper for a number of episodes.
Take this with a grain of salt for the moment, though Haynes appeared over the weekend at France's Justice Squad Convention, wherein the former Arrow regular was reported to say "I get to come back on a few episodes of Arrow next year." The former Teen Wolf actor made a brief return in Season 4, having stepped down as regular from Season 3, a recent Entertainment Weekly profile of which saw Haynes admitting to some personal anxiety with coming out.
Season 4 still has several weeks to go, though we at least know that guest star Echo Kellum will ascend to series regular for Season 5, while the DC drama has also begun casting for its next major villain as well.
You can check out the latest Arrow Season 4 trailer below, but what should we expect from Roy Harper's return next season. Will someone finally assume the Red Arrow mantle?

I heard that Stephen Amell congratulated him (?) shortly after his tweets announcing that he asked for his release, and in his written statement, he revealed that he may have already secured a TV (or film) role, and obviously I have to assume that he's landed a part on Arrow. I called it.
