I ordered this (the regular version not that new one you guys are talking about) at the same time as I did Captain America and didn't realise until afterwards that it wasn't out until November.

At least when it finally comes it will kinda feel like getting a free movie since I'm sure by then I'll have completely forgotten that I ever ordered/paid for it.

X-Men: Apocalypse to Focus on Mystique & Magneto's Love Story

While X-Men: Apocalypse's script has just recently been finalized, reports suggest that the film will focus on the development of Jennifer Lawrence's relationship with Michael Fassbender's character Magneto.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that director Bryan Singer and Fox plan on taking advantage of the mega-stars they happened to cast back in X-Men: First Class. Jennifer Lawrence plays Mystique, and Michael Fassbender plays Magneto, and their relationship will reportedly be the main focus on X-Men: Apocalypse.

While a lot of X-Men film history was erased during X-Men: Days of Future Past, it looks like Magneto and Mystique's romantic relationship will be developed and be highlighted in the X-Men sequel.

We know from previous films that Magneto and Mystique become lovers and essentially life partners while they fight for mutant rights, but their relationship has struggled to get off the ground in the first two X-Men prequels.

After what happened in X-Men: Days of Future Past, we imagine there will be a lot for Mystique and Magneto to work through before their relationship buds again, but it's interesting that a film as big as X-Men: Apocalypse is planning on focusing on their love story.

It's definitely a smart move though, as the two actors have become massive stars since being cast in the roles in X-Men: First Class. Jennifer Lawrence has continued to rise to superstardom with her Hunger Games franchise, and continues putting in Oscar-worthy performances in between her franchise films.

Michael Fassbender has somewhat of a similar story, putting out excellent performances in between larger films, with an Oscar nod this past season for his role in 12 Years a Slave. We look forward to seeing the two work more closely in Apocalypse, along with seeing the all-powerful mutant gracing the big screen.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be directed by Bryan Singer, with Simon Kinberg penning the script, and will be released in theaters May 27, 2016. The studio recently announced that filming will begin in Canada this April.

- Days of Future Past Concept Art Reveals Rogue Set Pieces

Concept artist Mathieu Duchesne has posted pieces of artwork that he created during pre-production on X-Men: Days of Future Past. What's most interesting about these pieces is that a few of them feature scenes that focused around Anna Paquin's Rogue. The character was originally supposed to aide in Wolverine's time travel after being rescued from a makeshift science lab hosted inside the Xavier mansion's Cerebro facility. It was to be revealed in the film that future Sentinels were created using not only Mystique's powers, but Rogue's as well.

Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan Join X-Men: Apocalypse!

X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer announced on his Twitter today that Alexandra Shipp will play Storm, Sophie Turner will play Jean Grey, and Tye Sheridan will play Cyclops in the May 27, 2016 release!

Shipp is known playing KT Rush on the show "House of Anubis" and for headlining Lifetime's recent biopic "Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B," Turner is known for her role as Sansa Stark on HBO's "Game of Thrones," and Sheridan has starred in The Tree of Life, Mud and Joe.

The trio is joining James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac and Nicholas Hoult in X-Men: Apocalypse, which is scripted by Simon Kinberg, Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris.

Said to be the conclusion of a trilogy started with X-Men: First Class and continued with X-Men: Days of Future Past, cameras will start rolling on the next adventure in Montreal beginning in April.

- Nightcrawler Joins X-Men: Apocalypse

Kodi Smit-McPhee has joined the already very impressive cast of X-Men: Apocalypse as a younger version of fan-favourite mutant teleporter, Nightcrawler. The character was last seen in the second X-Men movie played by Alan Cummings, and we all wondered if we'd every see the "Fuzzy Elf" return to the franchise. Smit-McPhee was most recently seen in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but his best performance was arguably in the bleak (but brilliant) adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's The Road.

Whew, okay, so I'm not even gonna bother going into details because there's too much news to cover, but Hugh, Halle and Channing are all rumored for cameos in Apocalypse, before Channing stars in his own solo film as Gambit, Dazzler and Psylocke have been rumored for Apocalypse, and this guy has reportedly been cast as Angel:

That guy was literally just in a soap over here a few weeks ago, it's pretty amazing that he's going from that to X-Men in such a short amount of time.
