It's one of my favorite ( and more popular) storylines. I can't really deal with the mullets in the original comic, but they've explored it a couple of times since. There's a two parter from the 90's series about it that you can watch here and here. It's also a major theme in the Wolverine and the X-Men series Astro just posted about. I think the movie is going to be more along the lines of that adaptation. It deals with time travel so you'd probably like it. |

Not DoFP related, but X-Men related. The Pete Holmes show sucks, but his superhero segments are hilarious (I think Tarry posted his Batman/Superman one before)

Anna Paquin Cut From 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'While several castmembers from past installments of the "X-Men" franchise will return to the series next summer in Fox's "X-Men: Days of Future Past," it looks like there is at least one member that will miss the reunion.
In an interview with EW, director Bryan Singer has revealed he had to cut a sequence from the film that contained the only screen time for Anna Paquin's Rogue character. (The "True Blood" star had only shot a couple days worth of footage).
Singer says in the interview the reason for the cut had to with the film already having so much in it and the sequence ultimately feeling unnecessary. He goes on to add that it probably will be included on the DVD with other deleted scenes.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" bows on May 23, 2014.

Me too Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw was outstanding there I thought. It's possible they might have been better off following up on where that left off than going in this direction. I have extremely low hopes for this movie Hope not, but could be. Some series style movies can wear themselves out after a while. |
