X-Men and X2 are still some of the best comic book movies ever, so I'm not shook.

The first X-Men was really good, but X2 was a little dull for me.
I really liked First Class, so I'll still give it a chance.

The cast for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past is quickly becoming a reunion of epic proportions. Director Bryan Singer tweeted this earlier today: That adds Rogue (Anna Paquin), Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page), and Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) to the ever-growing cast of the First Class sequel. Still no word on James Marsden's Cyclops though... he did die off-screen, after all, which is basically like a free pass when it comes to comic books and superheroes.
Interestingly, with Rose Byrne and January Jones not involved with the project (as far as we know), this means there are more original X-Men cast members than there are First Class cast members. So basically it's X-Men 4 posing as First Class 2 so they could still cast Jennifer Lawrence since she's the current flavor of the week. Got it. I have mixed feelings. The more is sounds like X-Men 4, the more excited I get, but the less it sounds like First Class 2, the more disappointed I become. I wish they would've just let Singer do X4 then did a separate First Class 2 later. I know this time travel arch is supposed to me one of the best X-Men stories ever, but some things don't translate to screen very well (See: Most Movies Based on Books) Having said all that, I'll probably watch this opening day, love it, and eagerly await X-Men 5: First Class 3 D |

I might watch this for Jennifer Lawrence.
The first X-Men movie almost bored me to death. I liked the second one. I can't really remember the third one.

It hasn't been announced yet and they've already started filming, but I'm expecting him to be a surprise since he's friends with the director, who chose this storyline so he could fix things The Last Stand ruined, and he specifically named Cyclops being killed off as one of the things he didn't like. |
