Thank god Ryan Reynolds got a second chance to play Deadpool, because the character was amazing in his short scenes at the beginning of the movie. What they did to him at the end is ridiculous, who thought that was a good idea?

I'll be honest though, this movie was better than I expected. It's definitely not a great movie, but it's good enough to kill time watching.
To be fair, I've never been a big X-Men fan, and aside from a couple of issues back in 2003, I've never read any, so I don't know how bad this movie actually is, lol.

I had an epiphany earlier and I really wish they would have brought January Jones back and had Emma Frost leading and training the young mutants in Apocalypse, because that actually would have been perfect.  |

I watched the first movie a couple of nights ago, and it was much better than I remembered. I remember the last I watched it, I spent the whole movie thinking about how it hasn't aged that well, but this time I didn't think that even once (okay, maybe I did during Storm's line about toads and lightning, but you can understand that). The Toad fight is actually my favorite part of the first movie, lol. This shot, along with the music.   |
