It really is strange that MCU movies get such good reviews from the critics, because they're all interchangable with each other. They all basically go like this:
Main character isn't living life to his full potential. He meets a new person (or persons) that makes him realise that he's better than he thinks. He gets superpowers. He beats the bad guy who has the same powers as him. Post-credits sequence either teasing the next movie, or more recently, making fun of the audience for staying to the end. Rinse and repeat.
I'm still going to go see this with an open mind, and I'm hoping it makes a lot of money, because if it doesn't make enough money, then it puts a stop to the amazing Mutant-Verse that Fox has been building over the years. Which means that either Fox will stupidly try to reboot, or they'll cut their losses and sell the rights back to Marvel, who will no doubt rush out a really bland X-Men movie, that will get overwhelmingly positive reviews from the critics, because Disney pay them to give their superhero movies good reviews.

The movie comes out next week and I thought it'd be cute if we did some promo of our own with matching, temporary avis. I have plenty for everyone if you wanna get in. (Astro and I have dibs on Psylocke and Jean, though.)
