I'm guessing Emma Roberts is going to be our protagonist? Because pretty much everyone in the first episode was evil except Kathy Bates. It seemed like that one twin head was going to be a good guy too but then even she was pretty much a sociopath by the end.

Elsa's back story tonight was just... Poor dat.  Paul the Illustrated Seal really does have a handsome face though. He was even clocking a few Brad Pitt angles tonight.  I know this season has been making a lot of references to John Carpenter's Halloween, but tonight's episode actually gave me a biT o'Friday the 13th. The second Dandy put on Twisty's mask, it reminded me of Friday the 13th Part 3D when Jason donned the hockey mask for the very first time. Before that, Jason was kind of clumsy, and he stalked his victims out. But the moment he got the mask, it was like it gave him confidence. Then he walked out into the open and shot that poor gyal in the eye with the harpoon gun.  In that moment, I knew Twisty's mask had changed Dandy the same way, and I immediately called that the next time Dora tried him, she wouldn't be so lucky. And I was right! I really know my horror.  Anywho, I really enjoyed the stuff with Maggie and Jimmy. Jimmy used those flippers to knock Dandy on his ass, and Maggie was serving as our feminist heroine icon just as Burke predicted she would. And I was living for it.  I imagine it's about to get very messy with Stanley coming next week if she genuinely is beginning to care for the freaks, but let us not forget she's a con artist. I hope she doesn't turn ha back on them.  |
