I'm not really feeling it, tbh. Twisty is the one and only interesting thing on the show and even he's getting boring. And I am not a fan of the weekly musical numbers.
I liked all the Halloween (movie, not holiday) references and homages this week tho.

I'm not really feeling it, tbh. You also said the same thing about Asylum in the beginning, which was free of any and all flaws. I'm into it so far. Twisty is already so iconic and we haven't even delved into his back story yet. Dandy is absolutely wild and every scene he's in I'm waiting for him to snap and kill for the first time. Michael Chiklis is being extremely problematic and needs to be dealt with immediately. There's gonna be a meltdown when the freaks find out Emma deceived them, and then there's also the issue of how her accomplice will factor into everything. On top of all of that Dora the maid is stealing the show right out from underneath Jessica Lange. Even I was apprehensive about the singing, but Gods and Monsters positively wrecked. And not to mention this season has Queen Jyoti. So idk what you're looking for in a show or what you think this season is missing, but you can keep it cause I'm here for what Mr. Murphy is giving me. |

Well yes, you're a fan of Glee. So the more he turns it into Glee, you still like it. You tried it. They've done three musical numbers. They're hardly breaking into song and dance in every scene. And it's not like it's terribly out of place. The season is about a bunch of carnies putting on a ( freak) show. Besides, they're doing it because it's Jessica's last season and she wanted to. So blame her if anyone. |

Not just about the musical numbers. Ever since last season this show is starting to care more about making people say "omg yaaaaaasss" than actually being scary.

Twisty has been cutting people up and snatching kids outta their rooms each ep, not to mention all the other story elements I mentioned that are making up the plot this season. I mean, you can dislike it if that's your opinion, I'm just trying to understand why you feel that way - because I don't. I'm sure you'll be back next week though.  |
