I finally finished Asylum and I'm about to start Coven in a second. But I'm already convinced that of the three seasons I've seen, Asylum is the best and Freak Show is the worst.

I like Asylum the best too.
Something I noticed watching the first three seasons fairly recently though is that the first half of the seasons are usually amazing then they kinda go downhill towards the end. Even Asylum I thought wasn't as good in the second half of the season.

I finished Coven last night/this morning. It definitely wasn't as creepy as the other seasons (Freakshow included), but I still loved it. Honestly I think Coven could've been a show on it's own though, it reminded me of X-Men, but run by Emma Frost, which I think is why I loved it so much. I'm glad Zoe didn't come off as some self righteous bitch and that Madison had more depth to her than just being some mean starlet. Fiona and Marie were amazing as well. Honestly I loved everyone in the coven, though Queenie got on my nerves a bit. Oh Misty was great too. But again, I felt like this deserved it's own show rather than being part of anthology, especially because it didn't really feel like AHS other than having some of the same cast.
Now that I've seen all of them though, my rankings from best to worst go:
Asylum
Coven
Murder House
Freakshow
