I've finally caught up to the final 16. I don't like any of them. They all annoy me in some way. I'm happy the obnoxious girl with the animal print face made it through. Although that whole vulnerable shit she's trying to pull now isn't working for me. I want her to be completely arrogant and a bitch. I'd even consider actually voting for her. Oh, also even more happy the whiny girl didn't. She seems like she'd be really unpleasant to be around.

We're finally caught up here.

I don't care about any of the contestants either. I'm only watching for the judges. Simon telling that awful guy that he was "utterly horrendous" was the highlight for me this week.

I've only seen JH but the one with the face paint is my favourite too. The fake vulnerability was amazing.

I don't really like any of the judges though. I like Britney for the most part but I don't really think she brings much as a personality, and Simon's been saying the same stuff for a decade and is getting creepier every year. Is he really trying to flirt with Demi now? From Paula to Dannii to Cheryl to a Disney kid. As he gets younger the targets get younger. Ew.

A few random thoughts:

• One Direction clearly had no idea who Drew Brees was. They all looked so confused when the video was playing. I was waiting for their "Ohhh, that guy" reaction but it never came.
  
• Speaking of them, their song, terrible. Some of my favorite lines: "and i'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks" - "you've never loved your stomach or your thighs, the dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine " - "i know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape, you never want to know how much you weigh " Who fed them that garbage to sing?
  
• When I seen him singing last night, I had the thought Tate might win, simply because he's the only country artist on the show. And if there's one thing I've learned from Idol, is country fans are about 60% of the audience. Honey Boo Boo probably loves this show. Wasn't shocked to see he was number 1.
  
• Every act sucks, one way or another.
  
• Demi doesn't know what the hell she's talking about ever and she needs to trim her eyebrows.
  
• Simon's lost it.
  
• Mario and Khloe are like fucking dumb and dumber on stage. Who hired these idiots?
  
• The production on this show is awful. It tries to be new and hip and stand apart from American Idol, but sorry, Idol has this show beat. It's not even a close race.
  
• Britney looked good tonight.

Why are these judges always hating on Paige?? She's the only one there I can actually see becoming popular in mainstream music (if Rihanna falls off a cliff somewhere). Her and Carley Rea are the only two that sang good last night.

And good lord, last night. I hate sob stories on these damn shows, and ughghgh. Cece and Vino need to go walk into a busy intersection. Cece is the single fakest person I've ever seen, and Vino needs to cut it with that shit. He didn't really sing that song. I imagined it. It couldn't possibly have been real. Fuck him. Wrap him in an American Flag and have him sing the Star Spangled Banner next week surrounded by troops on stage. Honestly. How the fuck did the judges give that garbage a standing o? You're not even American Simon, so you weren't even guilted into liking it. Either sing Everlast, or gtfo Vino. Arin Ray needs to fuck the fuck off too.

Everyone else was a'ight. I felt bad when one of Beatrice's twin little sisters face planted running down the stairs and no one acknowledged it. The wind during her performance was a little ott, but I like her.

I was so mad when the judges tore Paige apart, saying her emotions got the best of her. Especially after Cece's shitastic performance that they adored. I don't know why they have it out for Paige. Her own mentor doesn't even like her. idgi

I was sitting there bitching to everyone (much like now) spouting about Paige being the best on the show, then Carley went and blew the shit out of the water. Good for her. She fucked up the last note, but that's only cause they made the music go way too high and she was trying to outdo it.

And final word, I know some of you like Demi, but this show has made me hate her. She's insanely immature, she doesn't know how to make the girls look good at all with their arrangements, and her criticisms are insanely idiotic. To Vino: You just don't seem like a pop star to me. No shit? To Tate: You are a pop star! uh.. what? Please don't bring this little girl back next year, and someone tweeze her damn eyebrows.

Cece's days are numbered, but Beatrice sealed her own fate and saved Cece by sobbing like a sloppy mess on stage. Nobody's here for that. Did she learn nothing from Rachel Crow? If she can't even handle being in the bottom two, they shouldn't put her through the stress of a career at such a young age.

I was honestly fully prepared for Paige to go home, and was genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised when she made it through. We had the same reaction, tbh.

For the first time since the live shows started, I actually enjoyed the show last night. I don't know what they put in Khloe's coffee, but she was really good as host for once. Mario still sucks tho. Britney looked fine as all hell last night. And she looked great in the will.i.am video too. I really like that song now.

I was all for Paige telling Demi to stick her ideas up her ass and went out there and was herself. The performance wasn't all there, but I like that she finally sees Demi is 100% pro-Cece so she's out for herself now. I think the judges only praised her to pull reverse psychology on the viewers tho. Hopefully that didn't work.

Carly kills it every week. She's as good as Diamond thinks she is and that much better. Emblem 3 annoy me, especially when the non brother tries to act like he's the hottest thing on Earth. (seriously dude? a post-performance push up?) But they're not terrible. And even tho country isn't my thing at all, Tate is good for what he is.

Fifth Harmony needs to become Fourth Harmony and Destiny's Child that bitch on the far left. She throws them all off. Cece, I hate, but she wasn't terrible. She sucked at first, and her dress looked really weird, but she got better towards the end.

Vino fucking suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Go home. Now.

I kind of came to terms with the fact that Paige wouldn't win (well, anyone who isn't Carly or Tate, tbh) when they revealed the polls, so I wasn't shocked to see her go home tonight. It is what it is, and I found myself pulling for Fifth Harmony to stay more anyway. Which means they'll probably go home next week.

It's definitely Carly or Tate's game now that Vino is gone, and they're both so boring to me, but I'll keep watching for the reason I started in the first place: Britney.
