I watched The Peanuts movie from two years ago and it was super depressing. Poor Charlie Brown kept getting screwed over everytime he did the right thing and Snoopy would be by his side to try and cheer him up.

The Darkest Minds
I saw this last night and it wasn’t too bad. It had some pacing issues and it rushed a lot of the character and relationship development which was disappointing but there were some really cool action scenes. This is basically the X-Men Decimation event movie we’ll never get.

Just got back from Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again.
Why has every movie I've seen in the cinema recently been really depressing?

Logan.
It was way more violent and emotional than I was expecting.

Truth or Dare is one of the dumbest movies I've ever seen.

Best in Show.
I hadn't seen it in years but it's still hilarious.

I think I saw my favourite horror and comedy movies of the year back to back last night.
Apostle - Super creepy cult movie. It reminded me of The Wicker Man.
Sorry to Bother You - This was hilarious and had some crazy moments I wasn't expecting too.

I’m trying to catch up on some of the movies I missed this year but wanted to see.
The Shape of Water - I love Guillermo Del Toro but I wasn’t feeling this at all. I can see why it won awards and stuff but it just wasn’t for me.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - This was both hilarious and really sad at different times. Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell were all great.

I keep attempting to watch The Shape of Water on Hulu, but I can never make it past the bioshock looking opening before I pause it to do something else, before just turning it off altogether because I’ve lost interest.

Mandy.
Nicolas Cage movies are usually always weird but this one was something else.

Bird Box.
Some parts were dumb but it was okay.

Can no longer read this name without hearing it whispered like her theme in my head.

Bird Box. Some parts were dumb but it was okay. I've spent weeks avoiding looking up to see what Bird Box is and you just ruined my hard work.

I watched Crazy Rich Asians on the plane ride home and it was super cute. Like the plot was nothing original but the way it was shot and the soundtrack was amazing. Probably one of my top 10 favorite movies I think.
