Wakefield.
Bryan Cranston has a nervous breakdown and decides to hide in his garage and spy on his family for weeks/months with them thinking he's gone missing. It's creepy but there are funny moments too. It reminded me a little of Gone Girl.

Kong: Skull Island.
I’ve never really been interested in King Kong movies but it was alright.

One of my client's told me about this movie today and it seemed like something Burke would find hysterical.

I've spent the last five days watching the Friday the 13th franchise. I only watched parts 1-4 and then Jason Lives. I decided to skip the fifth one because who wants a Friday the 13th movie without Jason or Pamela? Impromptu ranking: 1. Part 2 2. Part 1 3. Part 3 4. Jason Lives 5. Part 4 You should give Part 5 a shot. After rewatching them recently, it feels more authentically Friday the 13th than most of the zombie Jason films.

One of my client's told me about this movie today and it seemed like something Burke would find hysterical. I thought that was a Funny or Die video or something and not a real movie. Even when the Lifetime logo came up I thought that was PART of the parody and it still wasn’t real.

I saw The Strangers: Prey at Night last weekend. There were a couple of moments were the characters were soooo annoyingly dumb and the audience laughed at them; like one scene where one of the killers is banging on the door and the mom screams, "LEAVE US ALONE!" 💀 But there were also some really great jump scares and moments that had the entire audience cheering. I think Scream 4 is the only other movie I can remember seeing that had the audience riled up like that.
Oh, and young Snow White from OUaT was the teenage daughter in it, and when she popped up I was like oh hellllll no, and thought this bitch was gonna be so annoying, but she ended up being pretty great.

I watched I, Tonya today and it was so good. The fact that Margot Robbie could make me feel sympathy for Tonya Harding is a testament to her acting.

Bushwick.
It's a thriller/action movie starring Batista. It was better than I was expecting considering it went straight to DVD.
Batista being a decent actor is pretty surprising to me considering he seemed uncomfortable talking for a lot of his WWE career. He was only in Blade Runner 2049 for the first 10/15 minutes but he was good in that too.

I was watching The Wizard of Oz with my niece and nephew and remembered just how creepy I find that movie.

Personal Shopper.
Kristen Stewart keeps coming through with great performances in these smaller movies.

I watched American Psycho for the first time a couple of days ago. I thought it was pretty good, but it's nowhere near as good as people have made it out to be. The ending was frustratingly bad, lol

A Quiet Place.
This is the most stressful movie I've ever watched.

The Florida Project.
Willem Dafoe was great and so were all the child actors. It's a pretty damn powerful movie.
