According to PWInsider, there is currently no legal issue blocking WWE from hiring former TNA talents. There has been no movement in the TNA vs. WWE lawsuit since former office worker Brian Wittenstein was hit with a permanent injunction preventing him from discussing or sharing what he knew about TNA confidential information on 8/20.
The temporary injunction against WWE regarding the same material was lifted by the court after the company had shown that their computer records and files did not contain any TNA information. So, while the case is still technically ongoing, there is nothing legally preventing WWE from hiring someone if they choose to do so. =================================== Well if that is the case WWE needs to hire Angelina and Velvet ASAP!

The E made no move for Matt Morgan iirc. How does that fit into the timeline?
I suspect the E isn't going to take chances unless they know they are in the clear. Especially with the hoss off the table. TNA's ratings and audience numbers both in the U.S. and UK are dismal. Vince might just let them die on the vine over the next few years and not risk providing even a little bit of publicity by signing ex-TNAers.
Hope I am wrong though and Angel and Velvet get signed just to earn more money. They are a cool act and deserve it. If used well, they really could help the Divas Division too. As it needs characters.

TNA has quietly re-signed Velvet Sky. This is why she has seemingly disappeared from the indies, PWInsider reports. No word yet on when she will return but it will likely be in early 2013. This is something that Dixie Carter wanted done herself. ================================== Damn it!
If this is true why would she do that? Their just going to screw her over again.

According to Pro Wrestling Dot Net, Velvet Sky is scheduled to return in some capacity on tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling. It was previously reported that Velvet had signed a new deal with TNA.
PWTorch has also confirmed that Velvet is currently at Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. ========================= *Sigh*
I should be happy about this but I'm not. I guess the TBP Reunion Tour is over. Seriously what was the point of her leaving just to run back? I don't know what to say anymore.

- Former WWE developmental talent and Tough Enough competitor Ivelisse Velez will compete on this Thursday’s live episode of Impact Wrestling.
Sunday on Twitter, Velez issued this message:
“The Huntress will be making an IMPACT this Thursday! #KnowWhatIMean #TuneIn #OnTheRise.”
PWInsider.com has since confirmed that she will participate in the “Gut Check Challenge.”
It will not be her first match inside a TNA ring as she competed in a dark match against Tara in October.

So TNA is taping an all Knockouts PPV special on March 17th as part of their One Night Only series called TNA Knockout Knockdown.
This is the only one of those One Night Onlys I'm interested in. But it makes me wonder how are they going to pull this off with the current Knockout roster. They only have 5 women they like to use regularly now Velvet, Tara, Gail, Mickie and Brooke. Will they actually bring in some new women for this show? I guess they will use Taeler Hendrix and The Blossom Twins for it since their under contract. Maybe Taryn Terrell will wrestle on it.
It would be nice to see Angelina back for at least one night. Some women I would like to see for this are Allysin Kay and Brittney Savage and maybe some women from Shine. Doubt I will see them but it would be nice.

Well we can rule out Angelina she just posted on Twitter that she was asked to be part of the all Knockout PPV but she declined.

Considering TNA's history of one night returns for Knockouts, it's probably for the best.
She's doing a lot between advertising, shows in the US and overseas, and modeling. Being prominent in TNA at it's popularity peak increased her exposure and helped boost her booking fees. There isn't much to be gained by going back for one night to job in two minutes.

Awesome Kong, Traci Brooks, and reportedly Roxxi have also declined to reappear.
Feels like a little bit of karma. Though TNA is too stupid to even get something this obvious I'd figure.

You can add Rain to that list. When a fan on Twitter asked her if she will be competing on it she replied "nopers".
EDIT Sarita and Winter also said they won't be there either.

Roxxi Talks Declining TNA PPV Invite, Knockouts Salary
Former TNA Knockout Roxxi recently made news after telling us she wasn’t going to appear at TNA’s One Night Only: Knockout Knockdown PPV, and now the ‘Hardcore Knockout’ has revealed that was indeed offered a role, but said no.
Roxxi was recently a guest on the Greg DeMarco Show and explained why she turned TNA down. She said: ”You can only get kicked so many times. … I think that I had finally had enough. They had trouble treating me very well to begin with and I felt like I was being a glutton for punishment every time I went back. … I felt like it was the right time to tell them no. It was like one of those bad relationships where you keep trying to get away from it. … You can’t treat people badly and then hope that they’ll come back and hang out. … A lot of the girls I’ve spoken to turned them down.”
Some of those girls she could have spoken too are Angelina Love, Kharma and Traci Brooks, all of whom confirmed they declined offers.
Roxxi, real name Nicole Raczynski, also talked about the pay of TNA roster members. She said: ”I absolutely loved being a part of it. … I loved being a part of history [with the division]. That being said, I feel like they are not sure how to treat their employees. … There were multiple times where someone was working a day job while being on TV. You’re supposed to be an international TV star but you’re having to get a job tending bar or working at a Sunglass Hut. … From my experience I would see that was straight across the board [not just limited to Knockouts]. … They weren’t very biased about it.”
Roxxi also talked about shaving her head bald and the impact Shimmer has on women’s wrestling. You can listen to the interview here.
----------------------
Good on Roxxi. I really liked her as the Voodoo Queen. It was bizarre, but also quite distinctive and fit well within a Knockouts Division that cared about individuality as opposed to having different plays on vanilla.
