"Velvet Sky is gone from TNA Wrestling but I’m told the company has been “desperately” trying to re-sign her. The issue is she does not want to re-sign until Chris Sabin’s deal expires as well and both of them can see what kind of interest there still is from WWE (as the two are an item in real life).
Both received feelers from WWE previously but TNA’s lawsuit against WWE makes things tricky and is preventing WWE from signing anyone from TNA. My source cautioned not to be surprised if Velvet returns to TNA but she’s in no rush to re-sign and doesn’t want to end up in one company with Sabin ending up in another.
TNA continues a “full court press” to get her to sign a new deal but so far, she’s not caving. Another reason TNA wants her back is they feel if she re-signs, Sabin will re-up as well. I’m told company officials do not feel one will go to WWE without the other, which currently, is not even possible." ================================== Interesting if true. But some stuff doesn't make sense like why would she resign when Sabin's contract expires? Also I still don't buy into Dixie not knowing that Velvet asked for her release. Something doesn't seem right about this report. Then again it was reported by Wrestling News World which isn't the most reliable source.
TNA should just respect Velvet's decision about leaving and let her move on.

Kurt Angle suggested on Twitter late Saturday night that he will leave TNA Wrestling if the organization does meet his ultimatum to remain a “top guy.”
He wrote, “If Tna Uses Me as the top Guy I Will Stay. I Love Tna. If Not, I Will Make A Business Decision.”
Angle stated during an interview last year with MovieLine.com promoting his appearance in the movie Warrior that he is under cotract to TNA through 2015. ======================================== Kurt seriously needs to just stop tweeting.
During an interview Gerweck.net last week, Rob Van Dam stated that a Knockout who recently departed TNA Wrestling would be returning to the organization.
When asked his thoughts on Velvet Sky, Angelina Love and Winter, he replied, “One of the names you mentioned is going to be coming back I believe. Or so I’ve been told.” ==================================== I like RVD but I think he's misinformed here.
Angelina seems very happy to not be in TNA anymore. As for Velvet she seems to be trying to move on as well. Winter is still there I believe. So I don't buy this.

According to the Wrestling Observer, TNA officials are considering a Madison Rayne vs. Brooke Hogan match for Bound For Glory. The idea would be that Brooke does a bunch of mainstream media that week to promote her first-ever wrestling match and TNA gets the publicity they need.

It looks like Jenna vs. Sharmell is going to have some competition.

Rockstar Spud, The Blossom Twins, and "Party" Marty Scurll were all offered contracts by TNA today.
It's a good day for British wrestling.

I personally don't see it, but I'm not a fan of them, so I don't care either way.

- Regarding Devon being done with TNA and still holding the Television Title, speculation within TNA is that they are planning on doing away with the belt altogether. ============================================== Why get rid of the title? Couldn't they just have had Devon drop the title to someone like Kazarian or Daniels before he left? What a dumb move on TNA's part.
Well if they plan to do away with the TV title soon they might as well get rid of the Knockout tag titles while their at it.

Kazarian and Daniels are already the tag team champions, it wouldn't be right to put the TV title on one of them too. It's barely defended as it is, and if it was put on a current champion, they wouldn't defend it either.
Retiring it is probably for the best, it's not like it actually ever meant anything.

The fact that D-Von Dudley is the current champion says all that needs to be said about that belt

I suppose getting rid of it would be the best thing to do. The last time the TV title meant anything was when AJ Styles and Doug Williams was feuding for it.
Now that Devon is gone I wonder if Bully Ray might leave as well.

The TV Title was created for reasons long parted. It's had three names in less than four years and did not really need to exist this long.
Theoretically it could have been a belt used to help elevate midcard talent. Or at least give them something interesting to do. But this is TNA we are talking about.
The KO's tag belts should have been scrapped long ago too. Hell they need not have even been activated after Love temporarily parted with the company since giving her and Velvet something to do while rotating others into the singles scene was the idea behind them to begin with.

- For what it’s worth, a TNA employee was telling fans at last night’s live event in Raleigh, North Carolina that Velvet Sky is still employed by the company, just not on TV right now. ============================================== I don't buy that at all.
Velvet recently was on that PWS iPPV and will be on FWE's iPPV in Ocotber. If she was still with TNA she wouldn't be able to do that. Plus Sidelines13 handles all of her bookings now as well. Another thing how can she still be employed by TNA if she isn't even under contract?
I call BS on this.
