(I was literally inspired to make this thread because of that other thread titled "Catfish"...yeah, my mind is that simple) Do you have any? Had any in the past? At various points in my childhood I had a dog (King), a hamster (Harry, lol), a guinea pig (Gizmo), and tons and tons of goldfish. I never had a cat though. Now I have a dog named Minstrel. He’s a Border Collie. We got him when he was a couple weeks old. I wanted to call him either Rocky, Jake or Ranger but the person at the farm we got him from said it was best not to change his name because he had already began responding to Minstrel and he would get confused. He’s about 6 and a half years old now. He was originally meant to be my sisters but I ended up being the person who was always taking him for walks, feeding him etc, so when I moved out it was decided I should take him. I didn’t mind. In fact, I would have missed not seeing him everyday.

When I was 5, my brother and I had two rabbits named Tommy and Sweetie. Tommy after the Green/White Ranger from Power Rangers and Sweetie, because it's what my brother had in his hand at the time. They both died within two weeks of each other... it was traumatising.
I also had a goldfish that I won from the fair that I named, General Lee after the car and the General on Takeshi's Castle. He lived around 3 years before I found him dead one day when I came home from school.
And that's about it tbh.

I don’t know if I wasn’t looking after them properly or what the deal was, but my goldfish never tended to live for very long.

Aww, you're dog should be a doggie model.
The first pet I ever received as my own was a goldfish for my third or fourth birthday. I named it Cleo after Pinocchio, lol. We've had animals ever since I can remember though. Dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, frogs, goats, chickens and ducks. My pride and joy has always been my dog Hannah though.
She's a boxer/pitbull mix and I got her when I was 11. She's really old now so she just likes to lay on the couch when no one is looking and enjoy her retirement. My other dog was a special needs chihuahua, but one day when I was at work my mom left the door open and he ran away.

Seriously, she is so adorable. And Hannah is such a cute name.
My dog also likes to jump up on the couch when I'm not around. Then when he hears me coming he jumps down and apparently thinks I won't notice all the hairs he's left up there that I subsequently have to clean up.

I'm sad that I don't have any pictures, other than the picture of Indie. Anyways my first pet was a hamster named Elephant. I got her when I was 12. Seriously the best pet ever, she only bit me once, but that was only because it was my first time holding her. After we got to know each other she bit everyone else but me and when I took her out of her cage she'd always run towards me, climb on my arm and sit on my shoulder. She ended up dying a year later though, which was super depressing. I remember taking her out of her cage and she was like struggling to crawl towards me and when she made it to my hand she like nudged me, then started to cough then died. So I buried her in my mom's flower garden. After that I got another hamster named Peanut...she was a fucking bitch. And super fat, which she ended up being pregnant when I bought her (go figure). First she had 7 kids, then 5, and finished it with a bang by having 13. All of them lived of course. Her babies were cute, especially the albino ones (which could've been the hamster version of Sheamus). But she was still a bitch, she got along with my mom though. We ended up letting them go in a strawberry field because 424954283 hamsters is way too many. Then I got a fish tank. I never cleaned that shit, too much of a pain. There was one last hamster in my pet time line named Kelly. Don't remember too much about her other than she was white with gray spots. None of the hamsters I had could fill the void after Elephant died. Then there was Indie. The sweetest dog ever. Like I told you guys a few months back he ended up passing away. But my friend and I went to LA to adopt a dog together and we found Indie curled up to his sister (whom I hoped got adopted). Seriously dog pounds are so fucking depressing. The little bugger peed on me on the car ride home, couldn't even get mad because he was so adorable. ^^ one of the last photos before my little buddy passed away There was also Rogue, she wasn't my dog, but she was really cute:

I'm not awesome with pets. I've had a few rabbits, one of them constantly raped my grandma's poodle. Another one ran away and my uncle told me it killed itself because it hated me, lovely guy. Then I had a kitten, I'm 90% sure my uncle killed it. After that I was off pets for a bit. I did finally get sucked back in and figured hamsters were a safe choice. They were not. They kept inbreeding to the point that they became mutated a bit and then started eating each other. I was afraid to touch them. Getting them food and water was scary. Then I found this adorable stray kitten that insisted on hissing at me and spreading out it's limbs like a bat. Naturally, I brought it home. I actually became pretty attached to the little bastard. He liked sitting on my nightstand and staring at me when I woke up in the morning. Not pleasant. Shinobi It's obvious I didn't take the picture, because he looked at everyone who wasn't me like that. He always refused to allow other people to touch him. They called him stuck up, but really he just had great taste. Then there's the sugar glider. I ended up bringing it back from Texas after visiting my mom. She somehow stuck me with it. They make the weirdest noises and I really did try to like it, but every time I went to interact or feed it the fucker tried to bite me. So, yeah... I probably shouldn't have kids.

Aww, suglar gliders are so cute. I think a slow loris would be a cool pet too.
On second thought, I don't have the patience.[/color]

My dog is sick right now. He hasn't eaten for the past 2 days and he doesn't want to go out.
He just scratched my door and woke me up for some reason. I feel so bad for him. I've made an appointment for the vet in the morning. He did the same thing about a year ago and it turned out to be nothing. Hopefully this is nothing serious.

He finally ate something this morning before we left then he mustered the energy to growl at the vet when he was looking over him. He said it’s nothing serious and probably just a stomach bug. If he’s not back to normal by Monday I’ve to make another appointment. He’s already looking better though, thankfully. I was looking up some stuff last night to see what could possibly be wrong with him and most of it was pretty frightening. I was getting kinda paranoid thinking there was something seriously wrong with him.

My dog has some infection in his ear where liquid is filling up in his head. His ear is all swollen and starting to bulge out. He has an appointment for surgery on monday morning. It's $10 a minute to keep him under. The vet says he can do it 15 minutes. $150!!

The cost is irrelevant. Your dogs health is the most important thing.

I got bored listening to my friend talk on the phone earlier, so I gave my dog a mohawk.

Deleted my last comment because it was soppy as hell. Yes, I've had a cat and a dog previously.
