Mystic River.
I had never seen it until now. Great movie.

The Innkeepers. I liked it. Working alone in a creepy building throughout the night reminded me of one of my old jobs.
I also watched Winter's Bone a couple nights ago. It was pretty great. Jennifer Lawrence probably deserved a best actress Oscar even more for this movie than she did for Silver Linings Playbook.

The last one I watched was Just Friends when it came on Sunday. Anna Faris was so good as Samantha James and basically made the movie. They really should have made a spin off movie about her.

The Call. It was a lot better than I expected. WWE did their thing with that one.

I want to see that actually. The guy who directed that also directed Session 9, which is one of my favourite horror movies of all time. I watched 127 Hours last night. I heard it was good for the longest time but kept putting off watching it until now. I thought it was great. Holy shit @ the scenes where James Franco is trying to cut off his arm.

I just got back from seeing The World's End.
Best movie I've seen this year by a mile!

The Conjuring.
It was really good. It was almost like watching Insidous (which I loved) again though. Same director. Same star. Very similar plot.

I ended up dragging myself to a theater to see The Conjuring. It was worth it. It really did seem like a not as scary Insidious, but this one was funny too. So, that helped. Oh, and I was the only one that laughed at the "based on real events" bit. The scene where the lady is grabbing the rope and then falls into the cellar startled me big time.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Sea of Monsters
I will start off by saying that Logan Lerman is really attractive in this movie, so is the guy that played Chris Rodriguez. I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not, considering this is probably my least favorite book in the series, but it was alright. I think the last movie was better, but I still enjoyed it. Though I did love the movie's interpretation of Clarisse. In the book, I couldn't stand her, but I loved her in the movie, but it's probably because she wasn't really much of a bully, more so a bitch. Tyson was adorable, and Grover was funny.
Since Sea of Monsters was my least favorite book, I only read it once, so I don't remember much about it. But I'm pretty sure a lot of stuff was left out and extra stuff was added in. I'm not a purist about that though, I get it, it's a movie, things have to be changed. Especially with an odyssey kind of book. There's so much information, that it has to be trimmed down to fit a two hour span.
But I enjoyed it, as I enjoy anything in the realm of Greek/Roman mythology, and I hope it'll do well to warrant another sequel, mostly because the next two books in the series were my favorite.

Dark City.
I stand by my unpopular opinion that this is the best movie by Alex Proyas and The Crow is number two.
Oh, and whatever happened to Jennifer Connelly? I remember her being pretty big at one point and I liked her in this and Requiem for a Dream but I haven't seen anything with her in it in years.

She was in He's Just Not That Into You, but I agree about Dark City. It was what The Matrix should have been.

She was in The Dilemma with Channing Tatum, too.

I saw We're The Millers yesterday and it was hillarious. The Jennifer Aniston striptease scene was amazing.
I highly recommend seeing it.

Disney/Pixar's Brave and DreamWorks Rise of the Guardians
Brave sucked, Pixar is losing it's touch. Guardians was great. DreamWorks wins this round.
