Your absolute favourite wrestling-related moments?

Which moments and/or experiences have really made you think, 'Oh, wow, I'm actually kinda passionate about this...'?

Mine:

1. My little conversation with Melina on Diva-Dirt (ahem...beautifulpersons.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wwe&thread=561&page=1). Anyways, Melina is my favourite wrestler ever by a mile, so it was kinda special to see her respond to me like that. So gracious and friendly.

2. Melina matches, specifically her match with Mickie at Backlash, and her I Quit match with Beth. They just felt special and made me feel special as a fan.

3. Last Melina moment: Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair in I Quit, Foley quits when Flair threatens to beat Melina with the barbed-wire baseball bat. It was just nice to see her so directly involved with such major stars so early in her career, and she played her part perfectly.

4. Team WWF beat Team Alliance @ Survivor Series. I loved the invasion, and obviously this was the climax. I really thought the Alliance was evil (despite my Steph/Hurricane/Molly fantardness), and was worried that they'd win and end the WWF forever, lol.

5. Undertaker's return at WrestleMania 20. The entrance alone. I was super-excited, and woke up at 5 a.m. (I used to record the PPVs back then, cause they were shown on Monday mornings, which meant school) just to fast the tape forward to that part. I'd been excited for months, haha.

6. The three times I saw WWE live (SmackDown in 2002 and 2004, RAW in 2006). Specifically the first time, because obviously I was more into it back then. I can still list the matches in order, lol. Better yet, I didn't even realise I was going to see it until that day. I was dead upset at first, because I thought I was too late to get tickets, but than my dad sprung them on me on the day, which was awesome.

I remember watching this and being so anxious because I had tickets for RAW the next night and I did not want the Alliance to win. This was also the night Trish Stratus won her first Women's Championship and I was just so thankful because I knew as long as she was the champion she would be safe, even if the Alliance won, lol. Definitely the peak of my interest in wrestling.

Aside from that, the only other times I can recall watching wrestling and being genuinely excited or moved were Trish's final match against Lita at Unforgiven, and when Maryse won the Divas Championship for the first time from Michelle McCool in Toronto. That was so liberating.

Any time one of my favourite wrestlers retires - Trish Stratus and Shawn Michaels are the two that stand out the most.

Rock v Austin at WM 17 - This was just crazy. Everyone in school was going on about this match for weeks beforehand. Everyone else wanted Austin to win, I was on Team Rock. I remember staying up until 4/5am to watch it like everyone else did.

Meeting Maryse and to a much, much lesser extent, Bret Hart - Maryse is self explanatory. Bret, even though I was never really a fan, I can still appreciate how big of a star he was and how he's really been through some tough times.

Experiencing The Undertaker's entrance live at the last house show I ever attended - Amazing.

When one of my favourite wrestlers makes a surprise return - This one always works, especially if they've been gone a while.

When Maryse beat Michelle for the Divas title - I love Maryse. I hate Michelle. It doesn't get any better than that really.

1. DDP being exposed as Sara's stalker, that pop was the loudest I've ever heard.

2. Being in attendance for Magnus' first TNA match against Matt Morgan, it was a poor match but he's one of my idols so I don't care.

3. Magnus debuting on TNA TV quickly defeating Shark Boy

4. The British Invasion appear as a whole for the first time

5. The British Invasion winning the IWGP Tag Team Titles and then the TNA Tag Team Titles

6. Magnus taking Sting to the limit (last one about Magnus, I promise)

7. Eddie Guerrero winning the WWE Championship for the first (and last) time.

8. Chris Benoit winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XX

9. Last but certainly not least... Seeing Fozzy live, being a few metres from Chris Jericho and having him throw a bottle of water over me.

Honestly, at my first wrestling event we were rushing to find our seats. I totally fell down the stairs. It hurt like hell and there may have been a little blood involved. Okay, more than a little blood. I still have a scar from it. Anyway, I didn't cry like I really wanted to, but rather got up and yelled at the people I was with to hurry up, because I wasn't missing the Headbangers.
