It's a new game I've got for us to play but I'm still working out the kinks. Basically, it's fantasy football for wrestling.
We each become the "GM's" of our "Shows" instead of coaches of our teams. We name the show, make the logo (optional), draft superstars, and gain points based on whether our superstars win or lose matches in a week. Every week, two GMs are pit against one another, with the person with the most points winning the match. On the final week of the season (WrestleMania for Spring//Survivor Series for Fall) the top 2 GMs play for the World Heavyweight Championship, while 3rd and 4th play for the Intercontinental Championship (and if at least 8 people play, 5th and 6th play for the United States Championship). You can trade superstars, drop jobbers, pick up free agents, all the stuff you get to do in fantasy football.
But there's no way in hell I'm doing this and BotY at the same time so it won't start until the first Raw of Januray. I want to test it out first though so we'll have a mini-season go until Survivor Series with honorary Beautiful People only (until the real game starts in Jan, then anyone can join) and MutantCouch cause she's my Harley Quinn and I say she gets to play. ;D
This is how I'm figuring on doing the scoring so far:
+1 Per Appearance (Not Including Match or Background Extra)
+1 Per Match
+1 Win (Countout/DQ)
+2 Win (Pin/Submission/KO)
-2 Loss (Not including DQ/Countout)
+ 5 Title Win (Including MitB/Rumble/KotR)
-10 Title Loss (Including Failed MitB/Rumble/KotR Cash-Ins)
I'll keep track of all the scoring so you guys don't have to do any of the work. I've figured out a way to keep the game in a single thread so it won't flood the board or require it's own section like BotY did. So let me know what you guys think and most importantly: Mal, B, Burke, Astro, and MC, name your shows! I want to do the draft asap so we can at least get two weeks in the tester season (I'll count this week). Not doing TNA because I don't follow it and that's just too many damn people to keep track of. Maybe next time.
