Seven. Teen. Days. Oh, and more on the soundtrack. 15 radio stations. 2 talk radio stations. 240 licensed songs. 20 movies worth of score for the game.

Rockstar’s upcoming open-world game Grand Theft Auto V was made on a marketing and development budget of $265 million. This makes it the most expensive video game production in history. The game was developed by Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games over a five-year period and may become one of the best selling games of the current console generation; it has 2.5 million pre-orders already.
In comparison with Hollywood films, it is second only to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End - the current record-holder for the most expensive film production – which had a $300 million budget.
GTA V launches worldwide on September 17 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

After getting nagged at by my brother and my best friend I'm officially buying this on PS3 to play with them. Thing is, I don't own a PS3 atm, so I'm buying this: 500GB PS3 that comes with the game and a $170 GTA headset. For only $270. Yeah. I'd be an idiot to pass on that deal.

Can you believe that this time next week we'll finally be basking in the awesomeness of this game. Well, either that or complaining about how it isn't living up to our expectations.

Well, either that or complaining about how it isn't living up to our expectations. Blaspheme! It doesn't seem real tho, no. This last month has gone by so fast too. I thought it'd take forever. My one complaint is that we have to wait 2 weeks to play online. I mean, yeah, there's a single player campaign, but what am I gonna do with the other 13 days after I beat it??

I'll probably drive around getting used to the map and doing random stuff for hours before I even start the proper missions.

Just went to gamestop and got $150 towards the game turning in my old Xbox ones. I got $5 a piece for SvR 2007-2011 and $10 for WWE 12. Who knew. Fable II gave me 50 cents

I can't believe how amazingly accurate the map is. Not just LA but the surrounding areas. Both my home towns seem to have made the cut. Even the shitty one in the desert I'm in right now.

I can't wait to hop on a motorbike and ride to the summit of Mount Chiliad then fly off the top, just like old times. Only it'll be even better because this time you'll be able to listen to Britney while you're doing it.
