I was gonna wait until the Black Cat DLC came out to get this, but literally everyone I know was playing it so it was giving me some severe FOMO and I went out and bought it.
At first it was frustrating because it really is just like the Arkham games (mixed a bit with Infamous: Second Son), but I felt like the combat and web swinging were inferior, but I think you just need to get the hang of them, because I don't have any problems with either anymore. Stealth is still a lil clunky, because unlike in Batman if you're spotted, you can't just whip around and lose them, so if you get spotted trying to pick people off in this game, you may as well just jump down and take them all on, otherwise you're gonna have ten guys shooting at you from different directions. But I've really gotten into the story now and I'm gonna try to complete it before Tomb Raider arrives tomorrow. I'm about 2/3rds done with it rn so I'm gonna try to knock it out after work tonight.

I didn't think this would take me very long, but I powered through it Tuesday night so I could finish it before Tomb Raider arrived, thinking it would only take a couple of hours, and it ended up taking like five and there were four boss fights in that time; two of them being two-on-one. Which I mean, is fine, it was just exhausting to take on all at once lol. The story was great though and I definitely expect them to announce a sequel soon. |
