Tell me I’m not the only fan of this living legend?
He’s been interviewing celebrities, mostly musicians, for like 30 years.
He does a bunch of research before interviewing people and always catches them off-guard with obscure stuff from their past. Positive stuff though, not like one of those people who tries to embarrass their guests.
His interviews are a good way to tell which celebrities are cool and which are dicks. Some people play along and have fun and some people are horrible. Blur and Sonic Youth basically bullied him during their interviews.
His Nirvana interview is kinda surreal since it’s just before Kurt Cobain dies and he’s sitting there eating pizza with Courtney Love and talking about snorting coke with Alice in Chains.
