For years Brock Lesnar vs. Hardcore Holly at the 2004 Royal Rumble may have been the least impressive looking WWE title match ever but now RANDY ORTON VS. JINDER MAHAL is actually the WWE title match for Backlash this year. Stevie Richards (in drag) vs. Tomko is a classic. Apparently Kaitlyn defended the Divas title against Tamina in a 3 minute match at Elimination Chamber 2013. The first PPV I remember watching (Breakdown: In Your House) actually has a bunch of these kinda matches: Al Snow & Scorpio vs. Too Much Marc Mero vs. Droz Bradshaw vs. Vader D'Lo Brown vs. Gangrel I forgot even the peak of the attitude era had a lot of crap.

I bought a used copy of WCW Spring Stampede 99 from a car-boot sale when I was young. I only really watched it for a Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash match.
One of the matches on the card was Mikey Whipwreck vs. Scotty Riggs. Even as a kid who didn't think much about non-kayfabe stuff I remember wondering how the hell that match made it onto a PPV.

Isn't Spring Stampede 99 considered to be the last good WCW PPV?

Isn't Spring Stampede 99 considered to be the last good WCW PPV? I think so. It was like a novelty for me because I had a bunch of WWF tapes at the time but this was the only WCW VHS or DVD I ever had. I remember the Scott Steiner match was basically him getting out the ring and swearing at ringside fans every minute or so.

Another one: Batista vs. Jonathan Coachman at Taboo Tuesday 2005. On paper it's already weird enough without even going into details. It was originally supposed to be Steve Austin vs. Coach though but Austin walked out when he found out he would be losing (well ain't that a surprise ) so it somehow became Batista instead. And on top of all this Goldust and Vader randomly returned to help Coach and it gave us this semi-iconic moment:

omg I just remembered Zach Gowen vs. Vince happened on a PPV
That was awful.
I hesitate to put it in here because it was amazing, but the WeeLC match was surreal.
