Well, the world's oldest person probably dies quite a lot but in this case it's notable because there is now officially no one alive who was born in the 1800's.
She was born on 29 November 1899. The oldest person now was born on 10 March 1900.
Celebrating her 117th birthday last year.
If you read the full article it sounds like she had a pretty difficult life too.
