You know what I’m talking about. The moments/levels/bosses that made you want to throw your damn controller at the TV screen.
In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, towards the end when you’re out in the desert before you begin the Vegas missions, there was a bit were you had to fly a plane through a bunch of checkpoints in a certain amount of time. Seriously, I just couldn’t fucking do it. It probably took me like 2 hours and 50+ attempts, lol.
One of the SD v RAW games from a few years ago, you had to beat either Taker or Kane in a casket match. Shit was near impossible. I must have hit them with my finisher about 75 times before they would lay in the casket long enough for me to close the lid. It's possible that I was just pressing the wrong button to close it, but let's not talk about that right now.

Lots of these. Particularly while playing Tomb Raider. Countless ill timed jumps resulting in fatality. There's no fail feeling quite like hearing that scream and then the cracking sound when she hits the floor.
I got stuck for a week on the original Buffy game trying to time three consecutive jumps on these spinning transparent platforms before I finally just said fuck it and gave up. A year later I turned the game on and crossed all three jumps on the first attempt and went on to finish the last 20 minutes of the game.
Shout out to our TLC matches as well. There were definitely a few times where I just put the control down and went to the kitchen to fix myself a drink, lol.

The Tomb Raider games were actually pretty difficult at times. I can't remember any specific scenario's, but I was often swimming/running/climbing around with no clue as to where I was actually supposed to be going, lol.
EDIT: And I bet you still ended up winning those TLC matches, didn't you? Those matches were definitely more brutal than they were epic.

Anytime I had to race or do some kind of checkpoint crap in GTA was always pretty bad.
Playing Triple H or Taker in SvR. Seriously that shit was ridiculous. Okay regarding Taker...I was trying to beat him with Ashley...but still!
Mortal Kombat, the second or last boss. It'd always be some sort of monster and I'm the type of person who only does uppercuts and they'd block that shit. Annoying.
Kingdom Hearts (2?) where you'd fight Sephoroth (sp?)... never could beat him.

Any time you get past a really difficult part of a game and then a while later your system crashes...and you realize you forgot to save your game immediately after completing that really difficult part.  |

I'm playing chess on the laptop at work (shut up...there's not much else to do, it's either that or Solitaire) and right before I was about to put the computer in checkmate it decided to quit and go back to the main menu for some inexplicable reason. |

I've been stuck on the same part of Star Fox Adventures for what feels like months now. All I have to do is fly around in a circle and shoot targets, but these pterodactyl things keep going for me, and I miss the targets and end up dead.
I'm glad they're extinct tbh.
