There were times when I really liked SmackDown (2003, 2008) but no matter what I was always a RAW guy and looked forward to it more than SD.
I liked RAW's titles (the big gold World title belt, Women's title, IC title) better than SD's (WWE title, Cruiserweight, US). Well until the US spinner belt was introduced anyway.
The fact that it was taped and the annoying fake crowd noise they always added in were also black marks against SD for me.

I preferred Raw, because they had the Divas division. SmackDown! was cool when they started pushing Torrie as a wrestler more, and again in 2008 when Maryse and Michelle had their rivalry.
I feel like Raw was the place for Divas to have great matches, but the SmackDown! Divas had better feuds, imo. A lot of times on Raw they were just wrestling with no story.

It depended on who was on at any given time. Fridays just sucked though, because I was pretending that I liked being social back then.

In the UK we didn't get RAW live until around 2005. Before that we had to wait until Thursday or Friday to see it. And SmackDown was Saturday morning for years before I think they moved it to Friday.

I was never able to watch Raw as a kid, because we didn't have Sky Sports, so I watched Smackdown religiously from the end of 2003 until it was moved from Sky One to Sky Sports - then I had to watch wrestling through those one hour recap shows, which I was already doing for Raw anyway, but it was a little frustrating to watch both shows through Bottomline and Afterburn though.
My uncle used to tape PPVs for my brother and I though, so we still got to watch a full show monthly.
So yeah, Smackdown by default.

Bottom Line/Afterburn or one of those highlight shows used to always be on every morning as I was getting ready for school. By the end of the week I was sick of seeing clips from the same RAW/SD segments.
