They're either putting her over by making her breaking AJ's reign a big deal rather than it being a passive thing that happens like it usually is when everyone else breaks a reign, or they're being assholes and trolling her just because. She's losing.  |

As soon as the bell rings she should kick the ref in the balls or smack Charlotte with the title belt to get herself DQ'd. That's what I'd do.  |

I think since they put so much emphasis on the fact that even if she loses next week she'll still tie AJ's reign, that's what makes me worried for her. I'm sure that they realized that and got all excited, like ooh we've never had two people tie a title reign before, let's do that. Whereas Nikki retaining next week with such huge steaks on the line could give her reign some real substance and make the Divas Championship mean something. But nah, they'll probably just throw it on Charlotte, since she's Flair's daughter, within two months of her main roster debut, since that worked so well for Paige and Gail Kim. Because WHY NOT?

If she loses the title next week I hope someone works out the exact length of both Nikki's and AJ's reigns down to the hour/minute and it ends up that she technically did hold the title longer even without making it to midnight. She can then come out the next week with some geeky looking mathematician in tow to confirm the fact.

I'm actually cautiously optimistic that she'll survive.
They need to end these terrible factions already so you could have either Paige or Becky (although Paige would make a lot more sense) turn heel on Charlotte out of jealousy. Or you could have Sasha/Naomi/Tamina interfere in the match to beat up both girls. Or even my idea of Nikki getting herself intentionally disqualified.

I don't want Nikki to do the cowardly heel thing. I'd rather her go out fighting like a real bitch. Besides, it kinda goes against her entire mantra.

I'm all for a Paige interference. She needs to go heel. Nikki needs to beat the reign and Charlotte needs to be involved in a storyline that doesn't get her the title immediately.

I honestly didn't know that the Diva's Championship had a nameplate until today.
Also, I hope Cena threatens to quit backstage before the match if the plan is for her to lose to Charlotte.

I've never noticed that before either until I saw that picture. The Flair family must secretly hate Nena (they really need a better name), especially if Nikki wins tonight. They're probably already having sleepness nights about Cena eventually breaking Flair's number of World titles and now Nikki can break a record of her own by beating them. |
