At the moment I'd definitely say that SmackDown has the superior women's division. They have a good mixture of established stars and up-and-comers, but most importantly they're utilizing all of them, so I'm glad they're getting their own women's title. Over on Raw, it's hard for me to even name who all is over there other than Charlotte, Sasha, Dana and Nia. In fact, the only reason I know that Summer and Alicia and 'em are on Raw because they aren't on SmackDown. I did start to get excited for Raw, wondering who Charlotte's challenger will be while Sasha's suspended, but then I realized that it'll probably just be Bayley and I lost interest again.

Yeah, I think Bayley is going to join the RAW roster tonight.
What are your early predictions for the WM title matches? I say Sasha vs. Bayley for RAW and Nikki vs. Becky for SD.

I'm thinking, I wouldn't be against a story where Nia toys with the girls on Raw until Alicia and Summer decide that they've had enough and decide to team up in the name of beating a common enemy. So basically a retread of Shaniqua versus Torrie, Nidia and Dawn, but it would give Nia something to sink her teeth into and would at least give the others something to do. If there is another Raw woman (genuinely blanking) then she can be in the alliance as well.

I feel like they kinda have to follow the same template for the Women's belt now. It'll look weird if the other three world titles are the same design and this is something random.
I hope they call it something stupid like the Universal Empress Championship. But it'll probably just be the Women's World.

Calling it the SmackDown Women's title seems so lazy. Although I can't really think of anything better.
I like the idea of the 6-pack challenge rather than a tournament. Nikki and Becky I think are the only realistic winners right now. Come on Nikki!

Dammit, man. I was really excited for Nikki to be SmackDown's top heel. I guess those pops were just too big to ignore. At least she'll still succeed as a face.
I guess they also picked up on what we were all saying about Carmella, too. I hope she doesn't flounder as a heel. It'd be such a shame if she gets the Summer Rae/Emma treatment. I'm also pretty excited that the title's gonna be decided in a six-pack challenge. I can't believe it's been almost 15 years since the last time the women had one.

The Nikki/Carmella segments were great. Nikki calling her a bootleg Nikki Bella was hilarious. All the alignments on SD are perfect now. I thought Naomi should be a face and Natalya should be a heel for ages before they finally happened. Carmella was bombing and this heel turn really saved her. And Nikki returning from such a serious injury was always going to make her a babyface. Loving how inclusive and fun SmackDown has become after that dodgy first week. I bet they all love coming to work. It's amazing how SD gets more done in 2 hours than RAW does in 3. |

Sasha sounded so dumb in her little video interview on RAW saying Charlotte needed Dana and her Dad's help all the time and that she was trying to injure her at SummerSlam. Charlotte beat her clean at SummerSlam with no help! And the whole point of wrestling is to hurt your opponent (within the rules of the match which this was). I can't stand Charlotte and it pains me to take her side but this sounded so stupid.
I hope Sasha returns and turns heel on Bayley because every week she's a babyface I like her less and less.

Did you guys catch the night after she won the title when she got that celebration segment in the ring (literally why?) and she meant to say me but she said Mia? Lol. She sucks so bad on the mic. |

Sasha Banks is a fool. It's one thing not mentioning Mickie James, Melina, Michelle McCool, etc. but to devalue the championship that they destroyed their bodies for was so disrespectful. It's not their fault that they were written into short matches where they had to limit what they could do, and it's certainly not their fault that their championship resembled a Barbie accessory. Sasha and the others aren't responsible for the "revolution" it was always a matter of timing, and I fully believe that the women would have been given this opportunity with or without Sasha. It has more to do with Triple H having daughters, to be honest.
And one more thing that is getting to me is Sasha constantly putting her opponents down for their looks just seconds after talking about how wrestling is the most important thing. I'd be fine with her putting Dana down for her abilities, because that fits her "I'm the better wrestler, I lead a revolution" act better than repeatedly referring to Dana as Miss Piggy. It's just annoying.
