Now in 3D!
We're a few weeks into the "revolution" now so what are your thoughts on how it's going?
I liked the Sasha/Paige match. I feel like it could have been a PPV match though. It's the same problem they have with the guys. No one is ever kept apart long enough to eventually have a big "first time ever" match because everyone ends up wrestling everyone all the time because there is so much TV time to fill.
I'm not sure if I'd rather have a title match at SummerSlam or a big tag match with all three teams. Btw, is there a name for a 3 vs. 3 vs. 3 tag match? A "9 person tag" doesn't sound right. Anyway, if there is a title match I guess Charlotte will be the challenger since she and Sasha have been made to look the strongest so far and Sasha already has an NXT title match the day before SummerSlam. If there isn't a title match though then it adds another 30 days or so onto Nikki's reign and takes her nearer to the record so I'm cool either way.
And does Charlotte have any character/gimmick other than saying “whooooooo!”

Except for Sasha, these girls lack character; but even then there's still no explanation for why she's teaming with Naomi and Tamina. I understand it's exciting for the fans who never paid much attention to the Divas to begin with, to see what the rest of us have known all along: that the Divas are capable of putting on a competent performance, but with the lack of character they've given these women, it isn't going to be long before the fans get bored with them. I mean, that's what happened to the original 'Golden Age' Divas division. We had a lot of great athletes with interchangeable personalities, and eventually, good matches just weren't enough because they became a dime a dozen, which is already happening. You said so yourself. That was a PPV worthy match that Sasha and Paige gave us on Raw, so now what are they supposed to do at a PPV? We even see this happen with the men. Neville had a great debut, but what is he doing now? Fandango? If you don't give the fans a reason to care about these people, they wont. Paige has already struggled for over a year to establish a character for herself beyond simply being a 'real' wrestler, and they basically burdened Charlotte and Becky with the same gimmick and lumped them together. And what are they even supposed to be revolutionizing? It's not as if the Bellas were serving pudding matches and pillow fights. Don't get me wrong, the night they debuted was great and iconic and I'm sure as a standalone moment it'll be talked about for years to come, but the aftermath has been underwhelming. Vince's Devils went on to make more of an impact on the Divas division, if I'm being honest. Long story short, I just feel like it was too much to throw three new Divas at us all at once. Especially when Sasha was the only one of them who had a real identity for herself; which, like Paige, it appears she left behind at NXT. In the long run I think I think they'll struggle to find their place in the division. I mean, that's inevitable, because in such a small division that many people can only share the spotlight for so long. But you know, whatever. It's cool to see something else until the fans get bored with this, like they have everything before it, and the Divas division goes through another evolution. #SaveUsEvaMarie |

They need to end these 3 Diva teams ASAP. They're so awkward, especially the Paige/Charlotte/Becky one. Them acting super excited around each other like they're lifelong friends makes no sense when they had no real connection to each other until 3 weeks ago. I just wonder which one of them will be the one to eventually turn heel on the others.

They need character development so bad. Consistency would be nice too. I don't know if the Bellas as faces or heels have the time. They've switched them around so many times. It's so past time to give them characters beyond, "bitchy and hot" or "nice and pretty" and so forth.

The Bellas are weird. Even when they're heels they're still allowed to slap hands with and be all happy towards fans. I guess they still want to keep selling that merchandise to the people that like them.

I decided to fast forward through Raw tonight and watch the Diva segments, and I can't even tell you how fucking over it I am that Paige is still riding AJ's coattails talmbout the same shit that bitch was talking about two years ago. She's the only one I ever hear somewhere talkin bout designer shoes and purses, bitch shut the fuck up, like all three of them aren't rocking the most weave outta all the Divas. Paige and Becky had more makeup on than anyone in the ring tonight. I'm so over it, officially. Annoying ass bitch.  |

I'm just getting worried with Nikki spouting on about becoming the longest reigning divas champion. I'm just like, bitch keep it on the DL, we're so close to eliminating AJ from the history books. I'm afraid that they're gonna have someone take the title away from her right before she breaks the record, you know like she did to Beth before she was about to beat Maryse's record.
Although I'm a little bit worried that they'll fall back into their old habits because this feud is post SummerSlam. Sure it'll be hot for a second, but I'm still salty about the Bella's feud last year and how it started off so strong then just got swept under the rug completely after that stupid assistant storyline. Also I can't believe Team B.A.D. didn't make an appearance at all, after their early elimination last night it just felt like they were cut out of the feud entirely. Also what happened to Cameron and Natalya? See I'm all for 'revolutionizing' the Divas division, but I hate how that means excluding Divas who're technically on the main roster (again Cameron, Emma, and Natalya). I think that it's great that the Divas are getting the time they deserve and I understand that not everyone can be in this particular storyline, but holy shit don't forget about the rest of the girls in the back.

Jesus, that Miz TV segment was so bad that I was literally covering my face in embarrassment while watching.
PCB are terrible. Brie is like The Rock on the mic compared to them. Listening to the three of them in that segment was uncomfortable. They even had me feeling sympathy for Miz.

I said it before but last night was the show I was really worried about her losing it on. I was relieved that it ended up just being a tag match. I'm expecting her to lose it at Night of Champions to one of PCB. I'd really rather Sasha or even Naomi though. Oh, and the Divas weren't happy with the crowd last night: |

I hate when the crowd tries too hard with the chanting in general, not just during the women's matches. Anytime I hear "we are awesome" I am embarrassed for everyone chanting it.
