1. Nikki Bella - I just think everything about Nikki is fantastic. She has an amazing look; her attire, her hair and her BODY get 10's across the board. I love her power moveset, and her promos always show passion and as far as I'm concerned she and her sister are the only reason Total Divas lived to see even a second season. Her rise to the top of the division is really inspiring, especially looking back on the Bellas' early days and realizing just how far they've come, and I love that unlike Brie and Bryan, they kept her and John separate on TV and that all of her success really is because of her. I hope she beats AJ Lee's record and holds both it
and the Divas title for a long time to come. She's earned it.
2. Naomi - My biggest complaint about her (
besides how sloppy she can still be at times...) was that she lacked personality, but her heel turned proved me wrong. She's been pure gold on the mic in the few instances I have gotten to hear her talk.
3. Carmella - Swagger on stupid.
4. Sasha Banks - She's great and all but I CANNOT deal with her wearing shutter shades in 2015. I'll give her a pass for now in hopes that she only wears them since her character is supposed to be ratchet, but I don't wanna have to address this the next time we do one of these.
5. Summer Rae - I feel like Summer was handled incorrectly. She was so fun to watch on NXT and I thought she had a bright future ahead of her, but I think they called both her and Emma up too soon and it saddens me to think that had they stayed down there a while longer they might have gotten the opportunity Charlotte, Becky and Sasha were recently given, but instead both of them wound up doing the comedy thing. Having said that, at least Summer is good at it and I doubt she minds.
6. Eva Marie - I can't help it, I love an underdog and I want to see her succeed and I hope she makes the fanboys eat their words. And honestly, I doubt that's gonna happen, but I'm sure it's going to be entertaining to watch her try; one way or another. And I wish she had Alicia's spot on Team Bella because I still love that Total Divas era circa summer 2013.
7. Cameron - Like Summer, I feel like Cameron has gotten the shaft. Her personality and attitude shine and she's gotten in great shape recently (
see Instagram). I wish she was in Tamina's spot right now because that would make much more sense imo and she'd bridge the gap between Naomi and Sasha's characters, because at the moment it kinda just seems like they paired Sasha with Naomi and Tamina because they're both black.
8. Natalya - God, she annoys me, but I can't deny that I'll always kind of like her. She's like that one friend you can't stand, but she's still your friend and you still care about her lol. I also feel kind of bad that she missed out on this whole storyline.
9. Alexa Bliss - I'm a fan of the gymnastics stuff and I agree that I think the heel turn benefits her. Her new look is awesome and I like that her and that tag team she manages wear matching gear.
10. Dana Brooke - I've never seen her wrestle or even heard her talk, but she has a nice look and she kind of reminds me of Tiffany. I think she's going to be to me what Kaitlyn was to most of you guys, where even though she's built like a man and can't wrestle for shit, I still like her.
11. Lana - I know so many people hate this storyline - and I'm not saying I'm a fan of it or have even been paying close attention to it because I've only caught bits and pieces - but I think it's great that there's been so much build up and I think when she and Summer finally get their hands on one another it'll be amazing (
I hope...). But in the long run it's all gonna depend on how she does once she's integrated into the Divas division. She'll either sink or swim, and it's too early to tell.
12. Charlotte - I'm kind of just forcing myself to like her because I feel like I better go ahead and get used to it now. It wasn't lost on me that she was the one to pick up the win at Battleground. I don't really connect with her at all, but at least she has a cool moveset so her reign wont be totally dull to watch, a la Michelle McCool's, who I can't help but compare her to.
13. Stephanie McMahon - I'm torn when it comes to Stephanie. Obviously there's a respect for her and I think it's great that she goes to bat for the women and I truly believe she wants them to do well and that's great, and I can't lie, I grin a little every time her music hits during a Divas segment because I know things are about to get good, but I'll always side eye her because of the whole Chyna thing.
14. Brie Bella - I don't really care for Brie, and I think it's just because ever since she and Nikki started doing their own thing, Nikki surpassed her in every way for me. So I just kind of have no use for her anymore lol.
15. Rosa Mendes - I can't help but respect our longest serving veteran.
16. Renee Young - I do like that she sounds like knows what she's talking about. I kinda wish they'd put her on commentary. At the moment doesn't she mostly just do the pre-show panels? And I don't watch those so I don't have much to say.
17. JoJo - Okay, we're getting to the girls I don't have much of an opinion on, and JoJo definitely fits the bill. If anything I favor her because she has a fresh look and she's a Total Divas alumn.
18. Becky Lynch - I loathed her before, but I think the steam punk thing is cool for her and it really sets her apart from the other Divas, and I even like the fluorescent orange hair.
19. Bayley - I agree with what Tiarnán said. I think she's great for kids, and her character is likable (
the wrestler not so much; she tends to annoy me on Twitter), but I'm not the demographic she's trying to appeal to, so.
20. Alicia Fox - I literally have no opinion one way or another. I just don't think it's going to happen for her at this stage in her career so I'm like, what's the point? At least she's a good seller, I guess.
21. Lilian Garcia - No opinion.
22. Eden Stiles - See Lilian.
23. Emma - The ombré looks like shit and if they released her tomorrow no one would notice.
24. Layla - Oh she's still there!
25. Paige - I cringe every time she talks. She's so bad on the mic and her awful accent doesn't help. It also annoys me that she barely sells for the other Divas. I've always felt like she takes herself too seriously and it's so obnoxious.
26. Tamina - I can't think of a single reason she should still be employed.
