I finished the main story. Joker having those hallucinations was awesome. And really creepy. I thought the twist of him ultimately being the one effected by the fear toxin was brilliant, especially after he spent the entire game tormenting Batman. I didn't see it coming until it was happening.
For a second I thought Batman really had become Joker, and that when Joker was killing Penguin, Riddler and Two-Face that it was actually Batman hallucinating and killing Robin, Gordon, etc. I was going to be PISSED if that had been the ending, lol. |

I've only completed about 40% of the whole game so there must be a lot of extra stuff. I've not got the patience to do anymore right now though. I'm still recovering from some of those later missions. The one with the five cobra tanks plus the cloudburst thing was a bitch.

I couldn't handle that stupid fucking tunnel boss part. For some reason I thought that I had to drive into a rocky wall, then make a quick turn so he could crash into it. Then I realized I had to go through some little course. Oh and the fight before that was bullshit. The one where you fight like 7/8 cobra tanks AND the Arkham Knight. The Cobra tanks didn't really give me any grief until they started grouping together, but it was AK in his fucking light speed tank that was pissing me off. Like why? How? Does it teleport? Is that fair? Necessary? I'm at like 85% completion. I've still gotta do like one or two story missions, some militia side quests, and the riddler trophies. I'm not here for those at all. Just like the last batman game I played, they're just fucking overkill. The batmobile is overkill.

Oh God, that tunnel mission really was awkward.
I was relieved when the Batmobile got destroyed because I thought it meant no more battles with tanks and stuff. A few missions later though when Alfred sends you a replacement Batmobile I wanted to fucking kill him.

Just to give you guys a glimpse on my progress. Last night I JUST FINISHED clearing the riddler trophies off Bleake island. And I still haven't done the final missions to beat the game, but apparently you gotta like keep inching towards the end in order to unlock some of the trophies and it's such horeshit. I HATE the riddler trophies.

I HATE the riddler trophies. You're a braver man than I am. I'm not even gonna attempt to get the Riddler trophies. If I happen to accidentally run in to the odd one here and there then great, but I'd drive myself crazy if I was actually going out of my way to find them. I still have PTSD due to all the hours I spent collecting the hidden packages in Grand Theft Auto 3 and promised myself I would never try anything like that again. |
