There's a lot for me but the main ones I can think of right now are Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia. I'm just not interested in them even if they get great reviews.

XV was the first and only one I’ve played. It was really good. I’m pretty sure there are earlier games that are considered better though.

How was that one? There's a double pack with X and X2, so that's the one that's most appealing to me right now simply because I'd be getting two games for the price of one.

Guys, what is Final Fantasy? Seriously. Hey, what are the best Final Fantasy games? There's some on sale on PlayStation Store and I was thinking of checking one out. To answer your original question Final Fantasy is an RPG game. So for each game it's set in a new world with a new storyline/characters. The setting is fantasy, so there's magic and monsters and a damsel in distress (most of the time). Mind you most of them are turned based games. Similar to Pokemon honestly. You'll get a team of characters and you level them up and they get stronger or you can equip them with upgraded weapons and items to make them stronger. There are common themes in each of the game. For example there's always someone named Cid, it uses the same Gods, and similar monsters. I've only played a couple of them. Final Fantasy X/X-2 have a great story and the music is absolutely lovely. But FFX is turned based, so you hit the bad guy, they hit you, you hit the bad guy, they hit you, etc. FFX-2 it's sequel, is similar except it goes a lot faster so you gotta think fast when you attack. The cool thing about FFX is the vast amount of characters that join your team, I think it's about 7 of them and you can change whomever you'd like on the front lines. FFX-2 you only get three characters, all of them are female (w/ cool designs). But for each of the girls there's different classes you get to choose from. So one girl can be a thief, another can be a knight, and the other can be a healer. There's way more than that, I just don't wanna make this convoluted. And it's a direct sequel to FFX. Final Fantasy XII I only played part of. I heard they remastered it and fixed the battle/class system. It's kind of a free roam esque game. But similar to FFX where you get a bunch of characters to choose from to be on your team. Final Fantasy XIII don't play this. Idk if it's on there, but if it is just ignore it. Long story short, this game was entirely linear and it was annoying. It had the most confusing storyline and it was just not a good time to be had. Final Fantasy XV is what I'd recommend. I think between FFXV and FFX-2 I put about 200 hours in each game. But FFXV has an easy control scheme and the graphics are really pretty. The battle system is similar to Kingdom Hearts so basically you're just hitting and slashing. The characters are fun and it's an easy world to immerse yourself in. The storyline isn't as strong as FFX/FFX-2, but I think it's the easiest to figure out how to play in. Plus you don't really need any of the DLC, it's one of the few next gen games that gives you the entire game. So tldr; Either FFX/FFX-2 or FFXV FFX/FFX-2 is a ported ps2 game with a turn based battle system, but it has a strong story and fun characters. FFXV is cut and slash, but free roam/open world. Great graphics and easy to immerse yourself in.

Great graphics and easy to immerse yourself in. These are the two I had somehow managed to narrow it down to myself. I was leaning towards X/X2, mainly because it's cheaper and there's two games for the price of one, but you may have swayed me by comparing XV's combat system to Kingdom Hearts. I got into KH last year and it's pretty much all I want play now, so yeah, I'm probably going for FFXV. I'm not a big fan of turn based combat systems outside of Pokemon and Pokemon knockoffs. Thank you so much for going to the effort of writing all of that for me.
