There's such a huge list, so this will be a discussion thread. Who're some of your favorite final girls? For me no one will ever top Nancy from A Nightmare on Elm Street. The way she unraveled Freddy's mystery. And the only time I've ever used Jessica Biel was in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake she starred in. And Katie Cassidy is probably the most underrated. The way she kicked everyone's ass in Black Christmas was just...

Eliza Dushku in Wrong Turn and Liv Tyler in The Strangers. I actually wanted them to survive which is unusual because I'm usually rooting for the killer in slasher movies.

I'll have to come back to this tho after thinking about it. I'm in a pizza coma right now but I didn't want to pay the thread dust.

She reminded me more of Nancy than the character who was actually supposed to be Nancy with the way she was putting the pieces together before anyone else even knew there were any.

Neve Campbell is probably my favourite, I think she's great.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Final Destination 3 is also a personal fave.

Oh, Sarah Michelle Gellar in The Grudge. I hated that they brought her back for the sequel just to kill her off in the first 20 minutes though.
Naomi Watts in Funny Games was another I was hoping would survive.
It's a bit of a stretch to call it a horror movie and she wasn't really a heroine but I liked Patricia Arquette in Lost Highway too.

Legend. Also Sarah and Juno from The Descent. Those girls went HAM against the creatures.

Wait, how the hell did I forget Ripley in Aliens?!
I feel like there's still a bunch more I can't think of right now.

Alice wasn't shit. The girl from Part 2 was the REAL Friday the 13th heroine. The way she kicked Jason's ass.

Maika Monroe is my latest favourite final girl/scream queen after The Guest and It Follows.

I would count her. She was really annoying though.

Nancy kept getting away, so her. Does the woman from The Descent really count?
