2015 WWE Diva Search

As you likely know by now, WWE announced after WrestleMania 31 that they are bringing back the Diva Search as an original series on the WWE Network. The series is set to premiere this fall and will carry on the original concept’s goal of bringing in new Divas to the WWE.

According to a new report (via WrestlingInc), WWE is considering having a former contestant from the previous run host the new season. As of current, the only former Diva Search contestants still actively working for WWE right now are Layla and Rosa Mendes. It should be noted though that Maryse, Michelle McCool and Eve Torres are all on good terms with WWE; Maryse is married to the Miz while McCool is married to the Undertaker, and Eve has maintained her ties to the company since leaving.

I don't want to get my hopes up but Maryse hosting would be amazing.

Eve's pregnant so I doubt it will be her. Honestly, Layla would probably be the 'best' option as she's the only other Diva Search winner out of that bunch, but obviously she's the last one who I'd want to get the job.

I agree with Ashley. I popped when her face showed up first during the promo at Mania. Or at least, she's the first face I seen. It would also make up for that horrible prank that was pulled on her last year.

So, I'm assuming they decided to pull the plug on this, unless they're planning on re-announcing it next year, like they're doing with Camp WWE.

Seems kinda pointless when we already have Total Divas/Tough Enough/Breaking Ground/NXT showcasing new Divas.
