…but you just can’t get into?
For me right now it's Kendrick Lamar. I love hip-hop and he's kinda similar in style and subject matter to a lot of my favourite rappers like Mos Def/Common/Lupe Fiasco/early Ice Cube. And his albums, especially his new one, have been praised to hell, even by non-rap critics. I'm just not a fan though. He can rap and the production on his songs is usually great but I don't like his voice. There's only a couple of songs of his that I actually like.

I just can't get into Chance the Rapper despite all the praise he gets.
Regarding my OP, I finally started liking Kendrick Lamar a while back when I listened to his first couple albums. I'm still not a big fan of most of his newer stuff though.

The Beatles.
I like George Harrison's solo stuff, I like Wings, I even like Ringo in Thomas the Tank Engine, but it's just John Lennon that holds me back from getting into The Beatles as a whole.

Welcome to the club. I can't stand Lennon. I like a lot of The Beatles' stuff, but his solo stuff is trash. Tbh my favorite Beatles songs were written by Ringo and George Harrison anyway.

I've never been a fan of The Beatles either. They have 2 or 3 songs that I like but I could never listen to an album. Same with The Rolling Stones.
I used to feel that way about most classic rock bands. I used to find Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin boring but then at some point they started clicking for me and I love them now.

I've also never liked The Beatles, nor did I feel like I should.
