What are the oldest movies you're a fan of?

I normally can't watch really old movies. They just depress me for some reason.

There are a few I like though. The oldest ones I can think of right now are The Exorcist (1973) and Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972).

I'm a fan of Charlie Chaplin, so my faves go as far back as the 1920s.

I can't off the top of my head think of the oldest movie I like. I like Back to the Future, Terminator and shit from the 80's; Jaws and Star Wars from the 70's; and the Bond movies from the 60's. It's not a movie but I always watch I Love Lucy if that counts for the 50's. Can't think of exact titles from before then but I like to chill and watch old movies once in a while.

The Great Train Robbery (1903) I've seen earlier stuff, but that's the earliest as far as me enjoying it and watching it more than once. I'm pretty disappointed so far in you guys, excluding Tarry. Silent movies were amazing. You have the ones that were really solid and then the ridiculous. I'm more of a Keaton fan than Chaplin, though. Fritz Lang is amazing and you should all be ashamed of not having watched Metropolis. The Marx brothers are hilarious. Duck Soup should be mandatory viewing.

The 20s produced some really great films:

I recently rediscovered my love of One Million Years B.C. and When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth. I was such a dinosaur stan as a kid.

Also, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. That one should be cast if it hasn't already been done.
