It's not out until next Christmas but I'm already looking forward to this. It's directed by the guy who made Trick r Treat, which I loved, and is apparently going to be to Christmas what TrT was to Halloween. I just wanted to post these cool posters/gifs:

I just saw this. It's not as good as Trick R Treat but it's a fun movie.

I saw it last night, too. I enjoyed it. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was fun.

When it was first announced I thought it was going to be a straight up horror movie. It wasn't until the last trailer came out that I realised it wasn't going to be 100% serious. Although Adam Scott being cast should've been a sign of that also.
It was a good mixture of horror and comedy though.

Krampus

So what did you make of the ending? I've seen two theories, one being that when it shows them in the snow globe at the end that's Krampus watching them - and other families - to make sure they're nice for next year; and the other being that they all actually died and are trapped in the snow globe. Personally I don't think that they died. I think they all had the same 'nightmare,' and then when the little boy opened the Krampus bell on Christmas morning they realized it actually happened, and that's why they're all sitting around looking like that as the film ends, but I don't think they're trapped, I think Krampus just undid everything. Because the same thing happened to the grandma when she was a little girl and if that were the case then she never would have gone on to have her son and the movie wouldn't have happened. Plus they show the rest of the neighborhood as alive and well. I'm sure you're probably gonna go with the darker alternative though, lol.

In my eyes they're definitely not dead. That is just way too dark for this movie.
