There has been a rumor circulating that AJ Lee could possibility be finishing up with the company after Sunday’s Survivor Series event. Bryan Alvarez was asked during Wrestling Observer Radio about the rumor and he noted that he’s been hearing the same thing. Jim Ross also addressed the rumor on a recent episode of his Ross Report podcast. AJ Lee has been on the road full time with WWE in recent weeks as Divas Champion. She defends against Nikki Bella this Sunday at Survivor Series.
I mean, what else is there left for her to do anyway? She's been there 5 years, she's the longest reigning Divas champion, she's won at WrestleMania, been GM of Raw, involved in main event storylines with the guys. All she'd be doing if she stuck around would be keeping a spot from someone else who could try to accomplish all that. Take a bow, girl.
Least y'all are getting an early Christmas present. And yay, that means Nikki could win on Sunday!

Oh, and not to put a damper on that, but.. Latest News On Eve Torres Possibly Returning To WWE Soon The official WWE website has issued a poll that will again fuel rumors of former WWE Diva Eve Torres returning.
For a future episode of WWE Countdown on the WWE Network, WWE.com issued a poll today asking fans, “Who is the most dynamic Diva?” The poll is limited to active Divas, with one exception: Eve Torres.
A piece of news last month indicated that Torres could be returning to WWE as an active performer. On October 24th, WWE filed a trademark application to the U.S Patent and Trademark Office for “Eve Torres” for the purpose of “wrestling exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers.” This description matches another performer name the company applied to trademark.

I'd trade AJ for Eve tbh.
I remember getting my hopes up when this story came out before SummerSlam though. I'm not falling for it again.
Although this just makes Nikki/AJ on Sunday even more like 2011 Cena/Punk what with the rumours of it being the last match for one of them.

I'd trade AJ for Eve tbh. Me too, gladly. I really don't hate Eve. I warmed up to her during her last few months or so. If she had been given someone better than Kaitlyn to feud with, I might have even cared. I'm not entirely convinced she'll be coming back as a performer instead of just being involved with their causes like Be a Star just yet, because WWE really loves having her around for the media since she's educated, well spoken and Latina and it looks great for their image, plus she's already got a lot going on for herself. But she's obviously in good standing with the company since she presented at last year's Slammy Awards and she's trained with the NXT Divas down at the Performance Center. Even if she were to return as an active wrestler though I'm not necessarily opposed to it. I mean, I don't think that many of us were checking for the Bellas when they came back, but look how that turned out. And speaking of the Bellas, I pray to God that AJ story is true because then I get rid of her and Nikki gets the title. Two birds, one stone.

I started kinda liking Eve in her last year or so too. There was something about her as a babyface I just despised. Probably the dancing. Once she turned heel though she was so much better. And hotter too. Everyone always seems hotter after they turn heel.

First rumours of Maryse returning, then rumours of AJ leaving, and rumours of Eve returning...so happy.
Eve was pretty boring for most of her run but her heel run was really good. And no AJ would freshen up the Divas division so much nd maybe someone else would actually get to look good for a change instead of everyone just being fed to AJ because her little boy body excites Vinnie Mac.
Man if Nikki wins the Title and AJ leaves...that would just be so great.

My statement from November remains my statement today I mean, what else is there left for her to do anyway? Now I think even more tho that Paige should've got the pin at Mania. Oh well.

Now that AJ Lee has retired from in-ring competition with WWE, it’s interesting to note the social media posts below that NXT Diva Bayley made during WrestleMania 31 weekend. It should be noted that AJ’s in-ring action was limited in the WrestleMania 31 match with Paige against The Bella Twins. AJ did get the win and work the finish for her team but spent much of the match on the outside of the ring as she kept getting knocked off the apron by The Bella Twins. Below are Bayley’s posts from WrestleMania weekend: That actually makes a lot of sense. Gratz to them if it's true.

I'll miss her, she was the most well rounded woman they've had in years and really developed into one of the best commodities the company had in general. But good for her, she got to live her dream, had huge success, broke barriers,,fell in love and went out on a high.

Since she's leaving and all, I'll say something nice. My biggest issues with her was less with her and more with how she was handled. As part of NXT and her initial move to the roster I enjoyed her. Then they pushed her in a way that was ridiculous. The whole GM thing didn't need to happen. She's tiny and from everything I've seen of her outside of WWE she's funny. They could have gone with that. Kept the nerdy thing and played up her as an underdog instead of the crazy gimmick, which is pretty offensive all around and terrorizing the Divas division. They went too hard in pushing her into a CM Punk fem-bot. Plus, the last year she has just been terrible. It was the same with Punk before he left and Jericho multiple times. It's obvious when someone has no desire to be there and it's not fun to watch. Her fans didn't help either.
I wouldn't even be opposed to a return in the future, provided she's interested and they don't shove her down our throats.
